"She's not you." I mocked in my head all morning. What was wrong with this man. I know I'm amazing but, god damn. Rose was great and I wish he stay with her and stop trying to get back with me.

Do I love him? Of course but we not meant to be; Plain and simple.

I woke up Jilly so we could make pancakes and eggs. We been at it for about 35 minutes now. I had her stir the mixture and add ingredients and I cooked.

"Mami? I want chocolate chips in my pancakes and eggs!" She squeal with joy. I shook my head.  She was such a cutie.

"The pancakes, yes. The eggs no deal." I was trying to get off of eggs. They make her break out.

She nodded letting me know she understood "Okay Mami! Can I have 3 chocolate chip pancakes?"

I smiled and Picked her from off the island chair. "You can have as many as you want Mija." I kissed her head and pulled out the pancake mix and chocolate chips.

She smiled once again in satisfaction. "I want to make a daddy some too."

"Of course you make him some."

Cause I damn sure wasn't after his bullshit game he played last night.

I put Jilly down and started on the first batch of pancakes. I set orange juice out and then apple juice, doing it knowing David preferred apple juice. Old habits die hard.

I instructed Her to pour almond milk and chocolate Chips into her batter.

As though a ghost from the dead there stood David in the door way smiling. "Hey munchkin." She smiled as he picked her up and spilled kisses into her cheeks as she giggled. "Hi papi."

He looked up at me as he set her down. "Good morning Elizabeth."

I cringed. But decided to not play games. "Good morning."

He sat at the island with Julianna. "What are you and Mommy making?" He asked as if he didn't know.

"Pancakes, duh Daddy." She jumped up and down. I chuckled at the excitement.

"You think I can have some?" He ask her. She smiled and nodded. "Mommy said I could make them myself." She started stirring the batter slowly.

"Oh she did, did she." He asked. I could feel him looking at the back of my head. I pulled a plate from the cabinet same place they always been and placed 6 small pancakes on there and put then front of Jilly. While removing the bowl full of a bunch of chocolates chips and watered down batter. "Want to try one daddy." She offered. "No, no I want my own the ones your gonna make me right." She nodded. I rolled my eyes as I set 3 more pancakes and eggs on another plate and placed it in front of David. "Don't worry Jilly I got it." I said. She shrugged and went back to eating her breakfast.

As I went to go make the last of pancakes and eggs he grabbed my wrist. "Thank you Lizzy."

I shrugged. "It's whatever man." He let go and began to eat.

I started to strap Jilly in and I made sure it was tight. After I was done David came from behind me. I looked back and stepped aside. He kissed and hugged her. "Love you munchkin." He said. She smiled. "I love you more." She bragged. "No I love you more." He stated back. She shook her head. "No daddy I love you more."

"I love you most." He smiles he gave her one last kiss and closed the door. He looked at me. "So see y'all in two weeks." He was confirming. But I would never take away his Jilly time cause I was upset.

"Of course." I smiled. He smiled back and gave me a hug and I hug back. And when we pulled he gave me a quick peck on the lips and walked away.  I Stood in awe not moving. Why did he do that though it was like a grandma kiss.

I finally got back to reality I looked at Jilly through the window. She was on her tablet. I sighed and got into my car for my Two hour drive home.
