The Snake's Secret

"Harry I need you to find the chamber of secrets." Voldemort started but was interrupted by Harry.

"What's that?"

Sighing internally Voldemort explained to his precious future son "Our ancestor Salazar Slytherin had this chamber built under the school. He was against mud bloods..."

"Muggle borns" Harry interrupted for Hermione's sake.

"Yes them," Voldemort continued "so he built this chamber and inside he hid a basilisk. A magical serpent that can kill at a glance, the snake only answers to an heir of Slytherin so it could have waited till later on except that there was a break in here whilst you were away last year and due to Malfoy's bumbling incompetence it took until now to work out what was lost. It was another of my Horcruxs. A diary from my time in Hogwarts, and if the stealer knows how to use it then they might be able to gain entry into the chamber of secrets and set free the snake, the catch is they could set it on whom they like. They would control it. We cannot let this happen."

Harry looked at the older man trying to process the new information. "So you need me to find out who has your diary and turn them both over to you?"

"Yes, and we also need to talk about tomorrow's banquet and your inheritance."

"Okay which one first?" Asked Harry.

"I suppose we should start with tomorrow." Voldemort answered. "I shall be holding a banquet in your honour, only the inner circle death eaters are to attend and that's is why I had your mask and cloak prepared." 

Harry looked down at the two opens presents. "Okay....are there any rules I need to learn for it?"

"Well you shall need to learn how to act as a pure blood heir would. I shall teach you the basics in a bit and I have also enlisted the younger Malfoy to help with this. You are also my soon to be heir and Prince so there will need to be a few special rules for you about how you act." Voldemort started. Harry nodded in response.

"I will take you over the rules in a few minutes but first we need to talk about your vaults and inheritance. I understand that there were numerous thefts from you whilst you were staying with those filthy muggles."  Voldemort said.

"Yes Dad, let me get you the documents. Molly!" Harry called out, when the meek little elf appeared he said "bring me the documents on my desk." The elf bowed and walked back out. While they were waiting Voldemort decided to do something.

He waved his hand in the air and the chair he was sitting in was transfigured into a settee, he then beckoned Harry over to sit next to him. After a second of hesitation Harry got up, the snakes curling around him tightly to hold on. He walked over to the new settee, he sat down next to the Dark Lord who put an arm around the small boy's shoulders, careful of the snakes, and pulled Harry into his side, wrapping him up in a hug. He ran his hand through the raven locks watching Harry relax and lean into his touch with a small content smile. 

Voldemort hadn't had much time lately to spend with his favourite little horcrux, (don't tell Nagini) he saw him very much as his son but it was hard to act as a loving father when he is so corrupted inside but its times like this that he tries to show Harry that he really does care about him. 

Molly apparated into the room holding the documents that Harry had requested, she passed them into Harry's awaiting hand and  rushed out of the room as fast as she could. "I gathered these when I went to visit Gringotts last year. They show all the different transactions that happened whilst I stayed at the Dursleys, the goblins have promised to get back all the money taken and last time Griphook wrote to me he promised to get interest, however," Harry said showing each of the documents to Voldemort "He also sent over the documents paid for by my money, they are all about you." He finished passing over the last of the documents to Voldemort.
