"Oh no, it's fine. No need to apologize." I said. After that we talked for a few hours, we were so enthralled with our conversation, we didn't notice it had started to rain.

Now back to the present
P.S. This is half-asleep Marinette, she won't remember any of what's about to happen:

After a few hours of us talking Marinette started to fall asleep. "You need to get some rest." I said, turning to go to my bed.

"Wait." She said, grabbing my arm, "Don't leave, I don't like being alone in thunderstorms."

"Marinette, it's not storm-" I started, being interrupted by a loud boom. "An akuma? At this late at night? Why does life hate me so much?" I thought. I turned to look out the window to see what was going on, but to my surprise, there was no akuma.

NO YOU DENSE IDIOT BECAUSE THEN MARINETTE WOULD BE JUMPING OUT OF BED!!!!!!!

Sorry, slight character break, back to the story:

Instead, it was a really bad thunderstorm, I turned to look at Marinette and saw her look at me with pleading eyes. "Alright." I said, to which Marinette responded with rolling over so I could lay down. I laid down on my back staring at the ceiling. After a while, Marinette rolled over, laying her head on my chest, making my face turn red from how close she was.

"So warm." She mumbled while snuggling against my chest, causing me to purr. "Are you purring?" She asked.

"What? N-no I-I wasn't." I stuttered.

"Hmm, must be the thunder then, night." She said, making me sigh in relief.

"Night." I said, before falling asleep.

Hahahahahaha, gotcha! Wait, did you think that? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Sorry kids, no lemon in this story................
