Just a Friend

Chapter 6

Adrien POV

Plagg phased through the ceiling and popped in front of me, startling me. "Oh boy, I'm in for it now"

"You sure she's just a friend, Agreste? Because what I saw last night says otherwise." Plagg said, snickering.

"Marinette is just a friend Plagg, now stop bothering me. I have to get ready for class." I said, irritated.

"Ooh, feisty Agreste. I'm just saying that you two were very cuddly last night." Plagg snickered.

"Well I'm sorry that I fell asleep and had no idea what I was doing." I said sarcastically, "And will you stop calling me Agreste? You know I hate that almost as much as I hate Chloe calling me 'Adrikins', right?" I said with a look of disgust on my face when I said the nickname Chloe gave me. Sure, we've been friends since we were kids but sometimes Chloe gets on my nerves. To be honest, I'm glad she's traveling and not staying in Paris.

"Sorry kid, I'll stop. But I'm still not done teasing you about last night. Now come on, we don't want you to be late to class do we?" Plagg asked flying into my jacket.

"Yeah, you're right." I said before leaving the dorm room, "I just hope Nino doesn't pick on me for this."

Marinette POV

"Tikki! I'm going to explode from embarrassment! What was I doing!" I said, freaking out about waking up with ADRIEN AGRESTE IN MY BED!? I had no idea how he got there until Alya explained.

"Marinette calm down! You're going to attract Alya's attention!" Tikki whisper-yelled while covering my mouth, "Everything is going to be alright, besides, Adrien seemed too worried about you hating him to notice you blushing." 

"Hey Marinette, Nino is throwing a party tonight! Wanna come?" Alya asked, opening my walk-in closet resulting in Tikki hiding. 

"No, I want to stay in here and never come out." I responded, curling into a ball on the floor.

"Oh, still freaking out about this morning?" Alya asked, sitting on the floor next to me. I nodded. "Girl, don't worry, this will all be forgotten after breakfast. Trust me. And besides, tonight is going to be Adrien's first party, you don't want to miss out on that do you?"

"No, I don't. Alright I'll go, but can I bring some friends from my classes?" I asked.

"Of course girl! I want to meet whoever has been watching over my bestie while I've been gone!" Alya replied eagerly. "Now hurry up before you're late to class!" 

"Oh yeah! Thanks Alya! See you after classes!" I said before bolting out the door.

"See ya later Mari!" Alya replied, then off to class I went until....

"Marinette, wait up!" I heard someone yell before turning around to see Adrien. "We have the same first class, remember?"

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot!" I said before looking at the time, "Oh shoot! We better hurry if we wanna be on time!" I said before grabbing him by the arm and dragging him behind me to class.
