Gabentine One-Shots

Musical Hall:

Characters: Clementine, Gabe, Marlon, Louis, Violet, Tenn, and AJ.
Setting: Supply Run (Season Four)
Plot: Gabe, Clem, and the rest of the gang find an old music hall and start to mess around and perform.

Clem's POV:
I was out on a supply run with Gabe, Violet, Louis and the rest of our little group. We all decided to go search out in the valley. It was risky for walkers but there is a good chance to find more food out here. Marlon and Louis went off to search off in the old movie theater which was all Louis's idea and Violet and Tenn went off toward the old grocery store. Which left Gabe, AJ, and I to search in an old
musical hall. I was glad Marlon put Gabe and I together to search this place. I haven't told anyone especially him, but I have a bit of a crush on him. Ok not so much but but more of a huge crush. I think this is the perfect opportunity to tell him. Well hopefully it's the perfect opportunity.
As the three of us walked, we saw a heavily lit room as we decided to enter it. It was an old musical theater with a stage and seats for people who would come and listen to whoever was playing's music. "Wow, this is awesome!" Gabe said excitingly as I giggled at his goofy charm. "Yeah. It looks completely untouched. Like nothing ever happened." I said as Gabe went up to the stage. "Clem look! Whoever was here last left their instruments." Gabe said pointing at the instruments on the stage. There was a guitar, piano, drums, and two microphones on their stands. "Yeah, I guess that everything started when they were performing and they didn't hesitate to run and left their stuff." I said walking up next to him. "Pretty cool, huh AJ?" Gabe asked AJ. "Yeah. Pretty cool." He said back to him sounding calm but also a bit excited.
Just then, Marlon, Violet, Louis, and Tenn came into the room as Marlon said, "Ah! There you guys are!" They came in holding their duffel bags that now looked mostly full. "Looks like you guys made out like bandits." I said folding my arms and smiling. "Yeah, turns out this place has pretty good shit. What about you three? Find anything?" Violet asked us. "No, Not really. All we found was this." I said pointing back at the instruments. I then saw Louis's face light up and say, "Holy Shit!! Instruments!" He then ran as fast as he could past us and onto the stage, instantly going to the drums. "Dude, we should totally play something." Louis said as Marlon said, "No can do, Lou. We need to get back to the school ASAP." "Oh come on! Just one song? We need to take a break from surviving every once and a while." Louis begged him. "Well maybe. What do you guys say?" He asked the rest of the group. "Yes! It would be so awesome." Gabe said excited as I giggled yet again. "Sure. I'll do it I guess. Whatever." Violet said nonchalantly as Tenn and AJ nodded their heads like crazy. "What about you Clementine?" Marlon then asked me. "Uh...." I hesitated until I saw how excited Gabe and AJ looked and I couldn't help but agree. "Sure. Sounds fun."  I said as Marlon nodded and said, "Then I guess it's settled. Violet shut the doors so the walkers don't get in and everyone either grab an instrument or sit down."
Everyone took stage except for Tenn and AJ who sat down in the front row. "I call the piano!" Louis said sitting down on the stool. "Wow. Big surprise there, Louis." Violet said. "Ok so who wants to do the guitar?" Marlon asked as there was a brief moment of silence until Violet raised her hand. "Really?" Marlon asked surprised. "Yeah. I mean I used to have guitar lessons before everything went to shit so I guess I'll do it." Violet answered as Marlon just said, "Ok." as he handed her the guitar. "So I'll do the drums so now all we need is a lead singer." Marlon then said as he looked at Gabe and I. "Well I can't sing for shit so sorry." Gabe said. "Well Clem, can you by any chance be our singer?" Marlon then asked as I became a bit nervous. "Well uh... I don't... uh...." I said stuttering until Gabe put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Clem, you'll be great. I know it." I blushed like crazy as thy simple sentence Gabe said gave me enough confidence to agree. "Ok. I... I can do it." I told Marlon as he nodded and went to the drums as Gabe walked off the stage and sat down next to Tenn and AJ. "Ready Clem? What song do we do?" Louis asked as I thought for a moment until I decided. It was my favorite song before the end of the world happened. I ran over to each of them and whispered it in their ear as Louis said, "Oh! I love that song!" I went back to the mic nervous. Especially since my adopted son and crush were sitting in the front row. But I remembered the words Gabe told me and got up the courage as Louis gave the cue and we started our performance.
Gabe's POV:
"A one... a two... a one two three four!" Louis said as he started on the piano, Marlon slightly tapped on the drum and Violet strung the guitar. I was so excited to hear Clementine sing. Not going to lie, I have a massive crush on her and wanted her to have her moment of fun. I then heard her begin to start singing as she sang "Little do you know that I'm breaking while you fall asleep. Little do you know I'm still haunted by the memories. Little do you know I'm trying to pick myself up piece by piece. Little do you know I... need a little more time." She continued singing as I was in trance by her breathtaking voice. It was like the voice of an angel it was just that perfect. "Holy shit does she have vocals! She's beautiful, smart, funny, kind, caring, and has the voice of a goddess! I have to make her mine! But how?" I thought to myself as I looked around the stage. I looked to the side to see a spare microphone next to Louis as I got an idea. Since the song was a duet, I'll jut sing along with her and tell her how I truly feel. I lunged from my seat and ran up the opposite side of the stage towards Louis. Luckily Clem was so busy singing she didn't notice that I moved as I grabbed the microphone and it's stand and moved next to her as she was almost finished with her first verse.
Clem's POV:
"I'm willing to forgive you but forgetting is a harder fight. Little do you know I... need a little more time." I sang as I looked back and noticed that Gabe was gone. "Does he not like my voice?" I thought to myself as I began to feel sad until I heard from next to me, "I'll wait. I'll wait. I'll love you like you've never felt the pain. I'll wait. I promise you you don't have to be afraid. I'll wait. Love is here and here to stay so lay your head on me." I smiled at the sight of Gabe as he began singing the next verse. He actually sounded really good. Actually good doesn't describe his voice. It was pitch perfect. I waited for the next verse to come up as it would be the two of us singing together. "Little do you know I... will love you til the sun dies." He sang as I then pitched in. "I'll wait. I'll wait. I'll love you like you've never felt the pain. I'll wait. I promise you don't have to be afraid. I'll wait. Our love is here and here to stay so lay your head on me. Lay your head on me. Lay your head on me. Because little do you know I... will love you till the sun dies." We finished singing as that last part we sung while staring dead into each other's eyes.
AJ and Tenn start clapping like crazy as Gabe and I were still looking at each other with huge smiles on our faces. "Wait, I thought you couldn't sing?" I sarcastically asked Gabe as he didn't respond and just kept staring at me. "Gabe?" I asked worried until he grabbed my waist with one hand, dipped me, and pressed his lips against mine. Fireworks went off in my head as I was surprised at first but kissed back melting into it. It lasted for about ten more seconds until our lips separated and Gabe set me back up as I was stunned. "I can't. But you bring out the best in me. I... I love you, Clementine." He said as I was so excited my body could hardly contain it. I cupped his cheek and said, "Oh Gabe, I love you too." "So does that mean I'm your...." He began to say until I put my pointer finger on his lips, silencing him. "Yes Gabe, your my boyfriend. And I'm your girlfriend. Just as I've wanted to be for so long." I said as he smiled and said, "I love you, Clementine." "I love you too, Gabriel." I responded as we leaned our faces in for another kiss which was interrupted by Louis saying, "Aw! Isn't that just sweet?" "Ok you two lovebirds. We've had our fun. But let's get back to the school now." Marlon said as we nodded and left the music hall with Gabe and I being hand in hand.
