TREVOR'S POV

I was trapped in my thoughts as to how I got wrapped around this dangerous game between Tiana and whosoever called me and was threatening me.

I was still shocked as to how he found out about the INCIDENT which I haven't told anyone in this town. I was still engulfed in my thoughts when my phone rang.

"Hello who's this" I asked?

"Trevor where the hell have you been, Mr Derick has been turning the whole station just because you haven't reported to the station this morning" Drey said screaming into the phone!!

I still found it hard reporting to someone every morning, I guess I was too comfortable in the city but well life in the city was a whole different from life at montogemery hills and I had to blend in.

"I'm on my way D, I'm being held up at traffic and I also went to visit Miss Tiana"! I said

"Wow!! why did you decide to visit her all of a sudden"? Drey asked.

"It's a Long story D, I'll tell you when I get there, please just try stalling for a while, bye for now"! I said cutting the call.

I didn't want to tell Drey about what's been happening to me over the phone, I didn't feel comfortable saying it, he just had to wait till we meet.

TIANA'S POV

Staring at the detectives card I felt that I should just throw it away, but my instinct just told me to keep it, just maybe one day it may come in handy.

"Hey T, what you thinking about?

"I'm just confused Audrey, why do you think that the detective came here"

"It's really obvious T" she said smiling.

"He's totally into you"

Audrey has always been trying to hook me up with a hot guy ever since my last relationship went south. It's been almost 2 years since I last dated anyone and my life has been drama free until recently when all this stalkers came up.

"Audrey, you sure have a weird way of looking at things"

"T I'm pretty sure you guys are going to hit it off and besides he said I'll get along well with his best friend so we'll probably make it like a couples thing" Audrey said grinning.

"Audrey I really miss Chad" I said trying to change the direction of the conversation

Chad was also our best friend, we've known each other since like when we were little kids. He always had my back and I've always had his, he made sure no scum bag made his way into my life. At this point I really needed him, but he was out of town for a job interview. I didn't want to let him know but selfishly I wish he won't get the job or even take the job. Yes I know it's selfish and fucked up but that's just how I feel but I obviously can't tell him that cause I might risk losing a friend.

"Tiana I also miss him, but he's following his dreams and we shouldn't hold him back, we've been holding him back for a long time and I believe it's time we let go" Audrey said.

It's lovely how Audrey knows my thoughts even without me telling her. Chad had always had this big dream of living in the city, having an apartment and having a perfect family of his own but yes we've been holding him back. He hasn't gone for any interviews for a long time cause he didn't want to leave us. But Audrey had to talk some sense into him and made him realise that time waits for no man, not even someone as amazing as him.

"Yh I know Audrey, I really wish he got the job" I said.

"Don't worry T, you don't have to lie to me, I know you wish he won't get the job, but that doesn't make you a bad friend, it just shows that you love him and you're going to miss him, what makes you a bad friend is not encouraging him on this new path he's about to take" she said
