Chapter 7: Obsession

TIANA'S POV

It's been 2 weeks since Audrey finally decided it was time for her to go back to her place. I kept begging her to stay longer but she refused saying that her staying with me doesn't make me face my fear it just makes me run away from my battles and deep down I knew she was saying the truth.

It's also been two weeks since Chad came back home, he has been the best ever since he heard what I went through this past couple of weeks. He comes to check on me everyday and everytime and I keep thanking God for having him in my life.

The door bell suddenly rang bringing me out of my thoughts. I quickly rushed to go and open the door already knowing that it was going to be Chad, cause this is pretty much the time he comes to check on me everyday.

"Hey Chad, what's up"

"I'm fine and how's my favorite slugger doing today" he said jokingly.

"Mmmph, I've told you countless times Chad, stop calling me slugger" I said hitting him playfully.

Ever since Chad came back and heard about my ordeal and how Andre chased me and almost caught me if not for my mysterious miraculous red Volvo, he has been calling me slugger and seems to want to stick to the name even after me vehemently telling him I don't like the name.

"Oh, come on slugger, you know the name fits you perfectly"

"Chad, I wonder how I got to know someone as annoying as you"

"Well fate put us together ever since we were little kids and fate wants us to stay that way"

"Yeah whatever, so what can I help you with this morning" I asked him

"You can start by putting yourself together and come with me let me get you breakfast"
He said.

"When it comes to food, you're always my knight in shining armor. I'll be back in a jiffy"

"Please hurry up, even if I don't have work to do, that doesn't mean you'll waste my time, slugger"

"Yh whatever, I'll be there soon"

Twenty minutes later, Chad was driving his way through Montgomery gardens, and we
Arrived at a fast food joint, ordered our food and got down to devour our meal.

TREVOR'S POV

"Hey come on Trevor, hurry up we'll be late for work" Drey said banging on my door.

"Come on Drey, what's the rush, you know no one questions us at the station so why hurry" I asked him

Truly no one questions us at the office, we are pretty much like the only ones who has experienced life in the city so everyone one accords us with a high degree of respect.

But knowing that Drey has always been an early bird, I wasn't suprised that for the past two weeks he keeps knocking on my door.

"We shouldn't because of the fact that they don't question us keep coming late to work Trevor, you definitely know it's not right" Drey said

"Yeah yeah, whatever let's go" I said walking towards Drey's car

We decided to both use one car to go to the station as it saves money, not that money was an issue for any of us. It was just a sorry excuse for us to be in each others space all the time.

When we got to the office we first had to check in with Mr Derick before going to our offices.

Luckily we both were both given the same office. Mr Derick said it was because he was told by our superiors back at the city that we worked better together.

I was almost forced to ask him what else did my superiors tell him but I just had to know that if he was told about "THE INCIDENT" he won't be this kind to me.

I already feel guilty for keeping this huge part of my life away from him because ever since I moved in here, he's been like a father to me, and it felt wrong lying to him.

But I already knew that no one would be able to stand me if the knew what I did.

The only person who can stand me is Drey and I thank God everyday for having such a best friend like that in my life.

Even my superiors couldn't stand me that's why I was transferred here.

I really hope Mr Derick doesn't find out cause I can't stand him hating me.

"Hey Trevor, I'm sure you didn't hear a single word I said" Drey said.

"Sorry man, I was just wrapped around my thoughts, so what were you going on and on about"

"Well I have a date with Audrey right now man" he said

Trust Drey to explore whatever chance he has with a lady.

"Then why did you come rushing me in my house" I asked him.

"Cause I know if it was up to you, you'll be coming to work very late so I had to step in" he said smirking.

"Yh whatever, get out of here"

As he was stepping out of our office he turned back and said to me.

"Hey Trevor, what happened in the past is in the past, you've paid for your sins with two years of your life, stop beating yourself up"

Yes after "THE INCIDENT" i paid with two years of my life, I was suspended from the force for two years.

I just got assigned to Montgomery gardens because the law states that an officer of the state cannot be inactive for two years unless he has medical issues, so my superiors had to avoid me suing them and assigned me to Montgomery gardens as soon last resort of disposing of me.

"I really wish it remains in the past Drey, I really do" I said as I watched him leave.

Honestly I wished I could just sleep and wake up finding out that part of my life was just a nightmare.

But I had to live with it.

HE'S POV

I couldn't stop staring at Tiana, she was majestically beautiful and miraculously blessed in the right places.

I wish I could have her right now, I wish I could feel her warm lips wrapped around me.

Even though I've not had my way with her yet, I'm sure all the whores I've been with cannot compare with her.

I feel hard whenever I set my eyes on her.

I can't stand anyone else but me having her.

I promised my self that I'll kill whoever thinks he can have her.

She's mine and only mine.

I'm literally obsessed with her.

I'm obsessed with the way her lips moves whenever she smiles.

I'm obsessed with the way her hips sway whenever she walks.

I'm obsessed with the way her body perfectly fits any cloth she puts on.

I'm obsessed with the way small strands of her black hair manages to escape and rests on her ear.

I'm obsessed with the way she pushes the small strand of hair up towards her hair only for it to escape again.

I'm obsessed with everything about her, and I'll keep my plan in motion, but I can't show myself now to risk being arrested.

I watched her as she stepped into the fast food joint and at that moment I knew someone was going to have to die for thinking he can have her.

I'm sorry for taking a whole lot of time I've just been busy and most of all lazy I'm really sorry to y'all I'm keeping from reading something amazing (I hope it is)
