When we got to Olive Garden, which by the way is my favorite restaurant, Annie was sitting on one of the benches with one of those buzzer things that tells you when your table is ready.
"Hi!" Annie said almost to excitedly while giving my dad a hug.
"Annie, this is my beautiful daughter Morgan!" He said this with such a proud look and a huge smile it made me feel like I needed to make an effort to like her. So I tried.
