Chapter 6

Joe's POV

It's been 3 days since the last time I spoke with Demi. I'm calling her today because I've made my decision and I want her to be the first person to know but first I have some things to do. It is 9am and I am still living at this hotel, but not for so long. I grabbed my keys and drove to the clinic that Demi told me. 

"Good morning" I said to the Lady in the reception area. "I wanted to know what kind of work you do with patients and all that stuff"

"Well, let's say that the patient can choose what kind of treatment he or she wants to has. He can come evey day and we have a doctor or a psychologist to help him with his problems or he can seat in a room with others patients and they all talk about their problems, also with a doctor." She said. I am definitely doing this!

"When can I start?" I asked. I talked with that Lady about other things and I have to say Demi was right this clinic seems to be amazing. I'm starting tomorrow, I'm so excited! Hope it'll work. I'm on my way, now, to my next stop. I'm going to rend an apartment because I'm not going to live in a hotel forever and I'm not coming back to Blanda.

Demi's POV

My tour is almost over and I couldn't be more sad but at the same time I'm excited to the South America Tour!! I haven't talk with Joe for 3 days. I want to know if he has already decided what he wants to do. I am really worried about him. I just want him to be happy because I know what he's going through, unfortunately, I've been through that too. I can't get him out of mind, I want answers! I'm texting him.

"Hi Joe. Wondering if you have already decided what to do - Demi"

"Hello Demi! Yep, I'll call you in 2 minutes :) - Joe"

I'm excited to hear him. I was in my hotel room in Nashville, TN and since I have to wait for Joe to call me I sat on my bed and decided to go on twitter. I read some amazing tweets about me from my Lovatics! I tweeted: "Today, I feel very pretty. Thanks to all of you. Love my Lovatics SO much!!!!" Seconds later, my phone was ringing. It was Joe.

"Hello!" I said.

"Hi Demi!! It's so good to hear you! How are you doing?" I heard him say. I could tell he was happy.

"I'm good and you?" I said.

"I'm awesome. I heard you are feeling really pretty today" 

"You are stalking me!!" We both laughed.

"Well, even if I was, I'm sure I'm not the only one!" I giggled.

"So, any news??" I changed the subject. I'm curious.

"Yeah, I went to the clinic you told me today and... I'm starting tomorrow!!" 

"Joe, I'm so happy for you!" 

"I'm so excited, Demi!! You can't even imagine" I smiled ear to ear. It's so good to hear him saying that.

"I couldn't be more proud of you" 

"Thank you." He said "Listen, I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me" He doesn't have to thank me, I like to help people especially my friends.

----1 month later----

Can't believe The Neon Lights Tour is over. South America Tour was amazing. I have no words to describe how awesome it was. The fans are so supportive. I love them!!! I've been in touch with Joe this last month. We talk, almost, every day even though it's on the phone, texting or facetime, we always chat. He always tells me how was his day at the clinic, he goes there everyday. I think he's going so well and I'm so happy for him. We have got closer too. He makes me feel like I can really trust him, more than ever. I've shared some things about me life but not too much. He is also working on his new album and I've been helping him because he normally sends me his new songs or demos and he has already said he wants me on his next album. I'm excited!! I'm back in LA and now it's time to spend time with my family and friends.
