Chapter 8

Demi's POV

I was exhausted but I had the most amazing day ever. I still think I suck at golf but it was an awesome day with Nick. The next day I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing. I picked it up to see who was calling me and it was Marissa.

"Hello" I said with a sleepy voice.

"Girl, are you still sleeping?" I'm tired from yesterday and besides I'm on vacations. It can't be that late.

"Yeah. What's the problem?"

"It's fucking 2pm! What were you doing all night?!" 2pm?! I can't believe I slept so much. I need to hurry, I promised Madison I'd take her to the mall today.

"Oh my God! Are you sure it's two pm?" I asked.

"Of course Demi..." She said slowly. "Madison called me completely worried about you. She called you a hundred times! You had plans with her and you didn't show up." Madison must be so mad at me. God! Can't believe I overslept!

"I didn't even heard the phone till now. Tell her I'm on my way" With that said I got up, went to the my closet and put on some black pants and a white t-shirt. I was so late, we were suppost to meet at 11! 10 minutes later I was at my parent's house. I got in the house with my own key and immediately found Madison sitting on the stairs looking down at her phone.

"Maddie, I'm so so so sorry" When she heard my voice, she looked up and her eyes meet mine. She got up, runned to me and hugged me thigh.

"God! Demi! I was so worried about you! I thought something had happened to you!" She said. Still hugging me.

"No baby girl. I overslept. I'm sorry" I hugged her even more. 

"It's okay. I was just worried. You always answer my calls and this moning I called you a million times and you didn't answered. I thought something bad happened to you" She's the cutest girl on earth. I love her so much.

"No, I'm fine" I looked at her  "I love you, you know that?" 

"I love you even more" She hugged me again.

"So, our date is still on?" I asked and she laughed. 

"Absolutely! Let's go"

We had a great time at the mall. We bought some amazing stuff, we had a delicious late lunch and we met and took pictures with some Lovatics. We had a bless day! I was know at home. It kinda sucks living alone but recentely I broke up with someone and it's definitely so much better living by myself that it was living with him. I went to take a shower real quick and started making dinner for myself.

While I was cooking Joe came into my mind and I realised I haven't talked with him for three days. Seems stupid but I kind of miss him. I know we were together a few days ago but I miss his presence. Maybe I should call him to see what he is up to. 

"Hi Demi" He answered and I could conclude he was happy. Maybe he was happy because he was talking with me... I mean we haven't talk in a long time.

"Hi Joe. What's up?" I heard someone talking in the background.

"Nothing much. I'm at home and you?" He responded. There was this voice in the background...

"I'm having dinner and I thought, maybe, you could come over but it seems like you're busy. So never mind" I was a little disappointed to be honest.

This voice sounded like a woman's voice.... AND It was clearly a woman voice!! He's with a woman!

"No, I'm not. Trust me" 

"It's okay Joe. We can hang out another day" That's why he was so happy, he was with someone...

"No. Of course I'm free for you Dems" Aren't you busy with your new girl? "What do you want to do?" He asked.
