"Welcome, Welcome" The speaker said "We will pick our tributes for the 46th Hunger games! But first we brought a special video all the way from the Capitol"
The video played and Alice held me hand tight. When the video was over the speaker said "Now, as always, ladies first"
Alice held my hand and Rachel looked over at me.
"Alice Healy" the speaker said
Alice froze, the peacekeepers came over and took her out of my arms.
Rachel stepped out
"Alice, ALICE!"
Alice looked over and her eyes grew wide
"I volunteer, I volunteer as tribute" said Rachel
I stared at Rachel and she looked at me and started crying
"Well, come here sweetheart" said the speaker "what is your name?"
"Rachel Corby"
"Well then, now for the boys"
The speaker dug her hand in the bowl and pulled out a piece of paper
"Silver Healy"
My heart froze and I couldn't move, I was to shocked. Before I new it the peacekeepers came and took me. I could here Alice screaming my name and crying for me to come back. But it was to late, I was on the stage with everyone looking at me and the speaker said "Was that your little sister?"
"Yes" I said
"Well, out Tributes of District 12!!!!"
No one clapped, but they did rise three fingers at us
When I got into the room my heart panicked, I was never the scared in my life.
My family came in and I hugged Alice
"Silver I don't want you to go"
"It's okay, Alice, I will win for you."
"Silver, you know how to throw knives, and your really good"
"I know, I know"
Then my mother came to me and kissed my head and hugged me
"I will miss you so much honey" she said
"I know mom, I will miss you too"
The peacekeeper came in and took them out, then took me and Rachel to the train.
Rachel held my hand as they made our id's
