"Have you spoke to my babe?I haven't seen her in like a week and she not answering my text."

"No Lamont maybe you should've thought about that before you fucked that hoe!"

"Ayoo I ain't call you for all that I know I fucked up I don't need you to tell me."

"Well you should've known I was going to tell you about yourself!"

"Man fuck allat just find out where she at and hit me back when you do."

"Whatever, I can try but she ain't answering me either I think her phone turned off."

"Bye Lamont get off my phone."

Lamont didn't know what to do with himself with out Jas. He didn't wanna hurt her he was gonna tell her but he didn't know when. Now the cats out the bag and he just may lose the love of his life. He can't function his mind is everywhere right now. He's trying to stay busy anything that has to deal with the business he has his hands in it. He hasn't been back to their house since she's left it feels crazy being there with out her. He feels his phone vibrating in his pocket.

"Hello"

"Hey what's up Chris."

"What's up boss man?"

"You need something,did something go wrong with the work?"

"Nah I was just calling to let you know I just seen your shorty."

"Who Jasmine?"

"Yeah her."

"You sure it was my lady?"

"Yeah she was with this dude I've seen around a few times."

"Fuck you mean she was with some dude! What you say to me next will be very important so don't fuck up."

"Do they look like they was together, you know like in a relationship?"

"Nah they looked like real good friends, you know like they knew each other for a while."

"Aight good looking man" with that Lamont hung up with Chris and tried calling Jas. Hello you have reached Jasmine. I can't get to the phone right now please leave a message after the beep, and I'll get back to you have a blessed day.

"Aahhhhh what the fuck, baby girl just pick up I just need to know your good."

Lamont knew he fucked up the last time Jasmine wasn't answering his calls it was hard. If he could fix it this tome he vowel to never fuck up again. But like always it's not gonna be easy to get her back. He can't just buy her things she don't care about that stuff.

"I had a good time at dinner thanks for the invite."

"No problem I just wanted you to enjoy yourself. I can tell your going through something at the moment."

"Yea I am but I don't want to think nor talk about it right now."

"Look Janine I'm not trying to push you to do anything that will upset you."

"That's good to know I just want to enjoy the little time I have until I go to school."

"About school what made you want to go in to criminal justice?"

"Well when I was younger my mom was taken from me and no one fought to find out what happened. I also didn't grow up in the best place. I wanna be someone that can help families like mine who lose loved ones. You know they need someone behind them fighting for what's right."

"That's deep, sorry for your loss that had to be hard to deal with. My mom is my life it was hard when my pops passed. I can only imagine what you went through."

"Yeah well how about we change the subject before we both get really said."

"Ha ya yea don't want the energy to shift to negativity."

Jasmine looked over at josh and smiled. She liked his vibe he was so down to earth. He wasn't trying to show out and act like someone he wasn't. It felt good talking to a guy that wasn't just trying to have sex but a real conversation. At that moment she started to think about Lamont and her eyes started to water.

"Jasmine are you okay."

"Yeah I just I just gotta go" with that she was out his car and rushing into the hotel. She finally turned her phone back on her voicemail was almost full. Most of them were Lamont begging for her to come home. The last message he left was today around the time she left Josh's mom house.

home I'm sorry we
can fix this.
Bbg:
Just give me space stop calling
me bye Lamont.

Before he could answer her she blocked his number.
She just wanted space a week is not enough to help her figure what to do. Yes he cheated but she still loved him he had all of her. She just couldn't understand why he would do that she didn't know what to think. She still wondered was she not pretty enough. Was it because she didn't have that much experience in the bedroom. Did she miss him not being happy because she was so focused on school. She had so many questions she needed answered but right now she wasn't ready for the answers. She was scared she was going to hear things that would break her heart . She couldn't face that right now. She was so glad she meet Josh. He was just what she needed at the moment. She kind of felt bad for using him at the moment , but she hopes that they could remain friends. Even after she made her mind up. He seems to be a really good person only time will tell.

Jasmine:

I hear you guys have a carnival
coming to town you gotta let me

Sure I love carnivals.

Jasmine put her phone on the charger. She had the biggest smile on her face Josh really made her feel good. It's like the clicked right away you would've thought they were good friends. Jasmine headed to the bathroom to shower so she could get rest. She planned on enjoying herself tomorrow and relaxing fully.
