Lamont was with his dad all day but something felt off. He didn't think nothing of it because his dad was a odd dude. He was learning all the ends and outs of the business. His dad told him about the territory that they had and was working on.
"Mont this shit for real out here so I need you to be on your A game."
"Pops I know I got this you don't have to worry."
"You saying that and I'm just trying to make sure you get this shit for real man."
"So when do I find out about distribution."
"Relax son that's gonna come but I need to make sure you get this part on point. There ain't no such thing as friends in this shit. The people that are in your circle are who you have to watch the most."
"Aight got it what else we gotta do today."
"Nigga this ain't no regular job you don't get to clock out. You act like there's something more important than what we doing."
"Nah it ain't that, I just told Jas I would tell everyone about the dinner party at the house."
"Your mom and your shorty having a dinner party? Why your moms ain't tell me she always inviting me."
"Nah me and Jas having one at our house."
James looked at lamont like he was speaking a second language.
"Why you look like that?"
"Did you just say y'all house?"
"Yea I got us a house we just moved in yesterday."
Lamont had the biggest smile on his face. But James didn't have that same energy and Lamont could feel it. He wondered what was up with his father and why he was acting this way. He know his dad wasn't feeling Jas at first. What he didn't know was that his father wasn't feeling Jas still. He didn't like how she had been acting the last time she was at his home. It was something off he felt and he was gonna find out.
"Pops what's up with you why you don't like Jasmine?"
"It ain't I don't like her just something about her that rub me wrong."
"Man what you mean rub you wrong you don't even really know her. First day you meet her you disrespect her and hurt her feelings. You never even gave her a chance to see her for who she is. You just wrote her off as another gold digger and that's not even her."
"Get the fuck out your feelings and take all that base out your fucking voice. You mad at me for speaking my fucking mind. To fucking bad I ain't sorry I felt and feel how I feel about your little bitch."
Lamont phone started to vibrate in his pocket he pulled it out. It was just his baby letting him know she was going to dinner with Trice. Also that she missed and loved him. He sent her a quick text back letting her know her loved and missed her too.
"Man I'm about to be out I got shit to handle."
"Now you in your fucking feels. You know what fuck it you'll be aight."
With that Lamont got up and left his fathers house. He was pissed that once again his father was on the bull with Jas . He loved that girl with all of him. He couldn't get why his father didn't understand that shit. He needed to smoke and release some stress.
"Yo you busy I'm trying to view you."
"I'm out right now but when I get in I'll call you"
"Man whatever fuck it I'm good."
"So now you got a attitude now that I'm not at your beck and call. Fuck outta here nigga you bugged where your little bitch."
"Watch your fucking mouth before I fucking spit on you bitch."
"Oh yea keep that same energy next time when you wanna view me nigga. Get the fuck off my line."
With that the phone was hung up in Lamont's face.
"Stupid bitch!"
Jas and Trice were ready to go out now. They had showered and got dressed. Jas had on a nice royal blue one piece with black Jimmy Choo's. Her hair was up in a neat ballerina bun. Trice has on a nice fitted dress she got from Sax Fifth and she had on red Jimmy Choo's.
"So where we going tonight?"
"Well I was thinking Luciani's, what you think?"
"Sure I've never been so I would love too."
"Hope they have a opening seeing how this was a last minute thing. I didn't get to make reservations for us and I love there food."
They pull up to the restaurant and they were in luck. They had space for them and Man was the girls happy. Jasmine and Trice was seated and giving their menus.
"I love their shrimp linguine it is to die for."
"I was thinking about getting that or the lasagna. How about you get that and I'll get the lasagna and we can try each other's?!"
"Okay deal."
They were so wrapped up in their conversation. They didn't notice someone starring at them.
" I know that's not his bitch right there. This should be fun."
She got up from her seat and acted as if she had to pee.
"I'll be right back I have to use the bathroom sweetheart."
"Aight I'll be right right here."
She walked passed the girls and went in the bathroom. She had to make sure it was little miss Jasmine and I sure was. Now she would put her plan in to play.
"Oh wow hey Jasmine I thought it was you girl."
Jasmine and Trice looked up and as soon as Jas seen who it was she had a sour look. Trice seen the looks and was on it with out a second thought.
"Who the fuck are you walking up on my cousin?"
"I know your name isn't Jasmine so I don't get why your even speaking to me."
"Sure ain't but that's not answering my question."
"What you want Tisha why you over here at my table."
"Ha bitch what you should be asking is why your man calling me. Ain't y'all happy together that's what you should be asking. You wanna be spicy that's the question you should be asking."
"Bitch beat it my cousin dude ain't checking for your ass."
"Why the fuck you still talking to me? Jasmine get your lil mouth piece before she get herself hurt."
"Bitch you ain't about that life and I ain't worried about that not even a little.
Jasmine was still stuck on what Tisha had just said about Lamont. Why would he be calling her was going through her head over and over again."
"Tisha why would Lamont be calling you? Like what are you trying to get at?"
"Damn I know you not that stupid you can't be. Why the fuck else would he be calling me he wanna view me. Yo Lamont stay fucking with dumb broads."
Tisha got ready to say some more slick shit but Jas stopped her with a punch to the mouth.
"Bitch did you just hit me?"
Tisha had blood coming out her mouth before she could react Trice hit her. That was it down went Tisha the dude she was there with watched the whole thing. When he seen Tisha go down he went and picked her up from the floor and left. Jas sent Lamont a text she was past pissed.
You better be home when I get there!!!
Lamont tried to call Jasmine many times but she sent him to voicemail. The car ride to drop Trice off was a silent one. The radio wasn't even on and Trice was cool with that. They pulled up to Brownstone and they just sat for a few minutes.
"Look Jas don't let that hoe get to you. Go home talk to your man and see what's what."
"Oh best believe I'ma get answers tonight. Oh yea before any of this bull happened, I was gonna tell you about the dinner party tomorrow night. I'm gonna text you the what time to be ready. I'll see you tomorrow when I come get you all I love you."
"I love you too later."
