Jasmine didn't want to go to any hotels in the city she didn't wanna be found. So she found a nice little hotel on the water front in a little town over. It was a nice little cute town with mom and pop shops.
"Hello I wanted to rent a room for a week please."
"Would you like a suite or just a room?"
"A suite would be nice"
"Okay that will be $650"
Jasmine dug in her bag and pulled out a stack of money and counted it out. She was handed her room key and she was on her way. She was hungry so she went to the front desk.
"I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction."
"I may be able to what are you looking for?"
"I'm super hungry, I was wondering if there is a place I can get a good home cooked meal."
The woman at the front desk smiled she knew exactly where to send her.
"Yes there is a place two blocks up and you'll see it. It's called Joanne's you'll see the name in purple writing."
"Okay thank you so much."
Jas walked to the eatery instead of driving . She felt it didn't make since to drive two blocks. She also wanted to have a good look at the town. It was total opposite of the city. Everyone was so nice and polite everyone spoke. It was like everyone knew each other it was different but a good different.
She made it to Joanne's it was nice and had a home feel to it. Jas felt comfortable she sat down and looked threw the menu. Everything looked so good to her she didn't know what to go with.
"Hello I will be taken your order today my name is Josh. Do you know what you will be ordering or do you need more time?"
"I need more time everything looks so good idk what to pick. What would you recommend?"
"Well to be honest it's all good but my favorite is the chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob with the homemade biscuits."
"Oh my that sounds so good I think I'll get that them with a large cranberry juice and large water."
"Okay coming right up."
Jas sat there going threw her phone she had many miss calls. Most of them were from Lamont but she didn't plan on calling him no time soon. She had text from Trice but she didn't feel like talking to no one. She was enjoying not knowing anyone where she was. Her food arrived to the table it looked so delicious. She was so hungry she never got to eat the night before. She was going to enjoy her food and time to herself. She took her first bite and it was heavenly.
"So how is it, is it as good as I tried to describe it."
"Even better thank you for recommending this it just melts in my mouth."
"No problem, if you need anything else just give me a call I'll be right over there."
"Okay thank you"
Jas can see Josh watching her across the room as she finishing he food. He's talking to someone she's wondering about what. He's finished his conversation with the man and is making his way over.
"So I'm just wondering why are you out here all alone?"
"Who says I'm alone?"
"There's no way a beautiful female such as yourself would be out here alone if you had someone with you."
"Well I'm out here on a mini vacation, you know a little get away."
"So your hiding out?"
"That's not what I said did I ?"
