Together Again

I winced in pain. "Take it easy" said a voice, as I opened my eyes and saw the guy with the dog ears. I then looked around, but saw no band of seven. "Are you okay?" he asked, as I held my head and paused feeling a bandage wrapped around my head. "Yeah... fine" I said, as he narrowed his eyes at me. "Inuyasha what are you doing?" said a female voice, as I looked at the door seeing a woman around my age walk in. "Kagome" he said, as she smiled walking towards me. "You must have been so scared" she said unwrapping my bandages and putting new ones on. I closed my eyes and then paused when Inuyasha stood up. "Another one" said Inuyasha, as Kagome's eyes widened. "Why are they coming back to life?" asked Kagome, as Inuyasha narrowed his eyes. "No idea" he said, as he dashed out of the hut. "Don't worry Inuyasha will take care of everything" said Kagome, as I watched her walk out of the hut as well. I grunted and stood up. I looked out the window and my eyes widened seeing Reina on a cloud and the demons she brought back fighting Inuyasha. I ran out of the hut and looked up at her. "REINA" I shouted, as everyone stopped and looked at me. "MIZUKI" she shouted jumping off the cloud. She landed on her feet and ran towards me. "OI" shouted Inuyasha, as we hugged each other. "Now we're even" said Hiten, as we turned our heads and our eyes widened when Hiten raised his staff in the air and lightening shot down. "Now I get my revenge on Inuyasha" said Hiten, as Reina growled. "Hold it what revenge?" she asked, as he sighed. "He killed me and my brother" said Hiten, as she narrowed her eyes. "Your kidding right? I brought you back to life, why do you still need revenge?" I asked, as he growled. "You wouldn't understand" he said, as Reina narrowed her eyes. "Oh so this is an idiot thing?" I asked, as he growled. "You want to go?" he asked, as Reina narrowed her eyes and took out her sword. "Bring it demon" said Reina, as I sighed and held my head. Reina and I then stopped hearing the song. "Pure has become impure, impure now has become pure" "That song" said Reina, as I narrowed my eyes. "The band of seven" I said, as Inuyasha growled and turned his head. "Inuyasha, return what you have stolen" said Bankotsu "Stolen?" questioned Inuyasha "Yes, that is my priestess you have taken, return her" he said, as I blushed and turned my head. "Geez he makes it sound so weird" I said, as Reina paused and looked at me. "Mizuki?" she questioned, as I looked at her.

"Tell me something how did all of you morons come back to life anyway?" asked Inuyasha "Uh, that would be our doing" said Reina, as his eyes widened and looked at us. "Our bad" I said, as he growled. "Do you realise what you did?" he asked, as I sighed. "It wasn't like we meant for it to happen, we were in trouble and it just so happens we learned how to bring someone back from the dead" said Reina, as he sweat dropped. "Enough of this chit-chat" said Jakotsu as he flung his sword. My eyes widened and I placed my hands together. As I did a barrier protected Reina, Inuyasha and I. "That was uncalled for Jakotsu" I shouted, as he hpmhed. "How are we going to get out of this mess?" asked Reina, as I looked back at her. "Well Bankotsu is only here for me... as for Hiten... no clue" I said, as Reina's eyes widened. "Your not going to go back with him are you?" she asked, as I sighed. "If it means no one will die" I said, as Reina growled and then paused. "What about after he's done with you?" she asked, as I shrugged. "No clue, he promised he wouldn't kill me, but... who knows if he was lying to me" I said, as we looked at everyone closer. "Wait, didn't Midoriko have that ability to pure demons" I said, as Reina looked at me. "Okay, but wouldn't that solve only half the problem?" she asked, as I looked at her. "First things first" I said, as she nodded. I held hands with Reina and we both extended our hands towards Hiten. "REPEL" we shouted, as our body’s glowed yellow and he flew back falling to the ground. We then turned towards the band of seven. "Well?" asked Reina, as I paused trying to remember what our mother told us. "Midoriko could even possess humans in order for them to see light into their lives" "Spiritual possession" I said, as Reina smirked. We let go of each other’s hands and crossed our own arms so it would be in the shape of an x. "LIGHT" we shouted, as the band of seven stopped. They tried struggling, but their bodies froze there; not moving. We sighed in relief and sat on our butts. "That was hard" whined Reina, as I held my head. "Who are you two?" asked Inuyasha, as we looked at him. "Just... travellers" said Reina smiling nervously. "I don't believe it" said a voice, as we looked around. "Who said that?" I asked "The ancestors of the great priestess Midoriko" said the voice again. "Where is that coming from?" asked Reina, as I paused feeling a slight pinch. I slapped my cheek and Reina and I looked down seeing a... flea? "Myoga? What are you doing here?" asked Inuyasha "I sensed powerful spiritual power" he said, as he blinked a few times. "How do you know if we are relatives of Midoriko?" asked Reina narrowing her eyes. "Simple, first you both were talking about her and second no one can stop both demons and humans with intent to kill like that" he said, as Reina and I looked at each other. "I'm Mizuki and this is Reina... we came here from the future... we actually don't know how we ended up here and in the process accidentally gave life to some of the members of the band of seven and Hiten over there" I said, as Reina smiled nervously. "And his brother" she said, as I sighed. "We apologize if we meant harm, but all we are really doing is trying to get back home" I said, as Myoga looked at us. "Hmm... well how did you get here?" he asked, as Reina and I stopped and looked at each other. "The cave" we said looking at each other. "You mean where Midoriko is?" asked Inuyasha, as we looked at him. "Please take us there" I said, as Reina nodded. "Yeah, sure" he said, as Myoga paused. "Hold it... what about them?" he asked, as we paused and looked at Hiten struggling to get up and the band of seven members slowly trying to move. "Once we're gone the band of seven won't be looking after me anymore" I said "And Hiten has rage against Inuyasha, not me" said Reina, as Inuyasha growled. "I'll show you" said a voice, as I looked seeing Kagome. "Kagome" said Inuyasha, as she narrowed her eyes. "You distract them so I can get them home" she said, as he growled and turned his head. We started following Kagome, and I paused looking back from where we were walking. "Mizuki?" said Reina, as I looked at her. She looked at me sadly and I smiled. "I'm fine" I said, as she nodded. I looked back one more time. "Here we are" said Kagome, as we looked at the cave. "Yes... sweet civilization" said Reina running in the barrier. I looked at the barrier and looked back again. "Mizuki?" questioned Kagome, as I looked at her. "Please... please don't let him hurt Bankotsu" I said, as she looked at me shocked. "He might have been bad, but he's kind now and sweet and..." I said lowering my eyes. "I'll tell Inuyasha" she said, as I smiled and walked into the barrier.

"Mizuki!" shouted a voice, as I shot up and looked around. My workshop... it was back to normal? I slowly got up and paused seeing Reina on the floor as well. "Reina" I said, as she slowly opened her eyes. "Where are we?" she asked rubbing her eyes. "We're... home" I said, as Reina shot up and ran into the house. I looked at the Midoriko statue that was in the middle of the workshop and looked at her. "We can't go back now... can we?" I asked, as I paused when I heard footsteps. "MIZUKI" cried my mother, as she ran over to me and hugged me. "I'm so sorry" she said, as I paused and blinked a few times. "What happened?" I asked, as she paused. "What do you mean? You were missing for days" she said, as I paused. "So... it wasn't a dream" I said, as my mother paused. "Mizuki everything alright?" she asked, as I nodded and made my way inside the house as well.
