"HA!" shouted Reina, as she shot a beam of spirit energy from her sword. I grunted and dodged while breathing heavily. I then bent down on one knee. "Mizuki" said Keade, as I looked up at her. "I think ye needs a break" she said, as I growled and slowly stood up. "No I can do this" I said struggling to get up. She sighed and closed her eye. "But Mizuki" said Reina, as I stood up and clenched my hands together so I could stand. Keade sighed and turned to me. "Mizuki ye powers are not strong enough to become a great priestess alone" she said, as I stopped. "But Keade" said Reina, as Keade sighed. "I'm sorry child, but ye are only half as strong as ye sister" she said turning around and walked away. I fell to my knees and just stayed there. "Mizuki" said Reina, as I growled and turned my head. I got up and walked away. "MIZUKI" shouted Reina, as I ignored her and just started traveling on my own two feet. I didn't tell Bankotsu I was leaving either, knowing him; he probably would hate the fact I was so weak. It took me a few hours but soon I came across a volcano. I looked up at it in amazement, but soon stopped when I felt the smell of... Iron? I followed the scent which lead me to a small cave. "Wow" I said, as I looked inside seeing tons of weapons and armour. "It's amazing" I whispered, as I slowly walked towards some swords and was slowly reaching out to touch them. "DON'T TOUCH" shouted a voice, as my eyes widened and I turned my head. I paused seeing a funny looking man riding a... demon cow? "Don't even think about touching those swords, they could possess you if your not careful" he said, as I blinked a few times. "Possess me? A sword? Is that possible?" I asked looking at the swords. "If they are made out of demons than yes" he said, as I stopped and my eyes widened looking at the man. "Swords made out of demons" I said, as I walked over to the man and bowed before him. "Please allow me to be your assistant" I said, as he sighed and bonked my head. "Foolish human it takes years to comprehend the structure and skills to make a truly worthy demon sword" he said, as I then bowed on my knees. "Please, I beg of you. Blacksmithing is one of my passions it’s the only thing I'm good at. Please train me a little" I said, as he paused and stroked his little beard. "Well, I suppose I could tell you a few small tricks" he said 'Not that a human could even come close to learning them' he thought.
A few days had passed and I smirked holding up the sword in my hands. "I don't believe it, you have a true gift" said the man whose name was Totosai. "It's a shame your human, otherwise with your talents I could have made you my apprentice" he said, as my eyes widened and they sparkled a bit. I bowed my head. "Thank you master Totosai" I said, as he blushed a bit and smiled at me. "Mizuki" said a voice, as I stopped and turned my head. I looked seeing Bankotsu breathing heavily and glaring at me. He walked in and grabbed my arm. "Uh, wait" I said, as he growled. "No way, I have been looking for you for four days your coming with me" he said dragging me along. Soon we were back near Keade's village. "Your supposed to be learning to improve your priestess powers" he said, as I stopped and pulled my arm back. Bankotsu paused and looked back at me. "I can't" I said, as he narrowed his eyes. "I can't do it Bankotsu, I'm weak. Keade says I'll never be as good as Reina" I said lowering my head and turning away from him. It was silent for a moment, and I was expecting him to walk away without me to ask Reina about his brothers. However, my eyes widened when he grabbed my shoulders and my eyes widened when he embraced me. "We'll try one at a time" he whispered, as I stood there shocked. I soon smiled and closed my eyes feeling his warmth. He then grabbed my hand and we started walking. I couldn't help but feel happy, but I soon stopped walking again feeling a dark yet somehow familiar aura. I turned my head back and narrowed my eyes. "Mizuki" said Bankotsu, as I paused and looked at him. "Everything okay?" he asked, as I slowly nodded my head and we continued to walk. But I just couldn't shake the feeling that someone or rather something was watching us just now. Once we met up with the others I paused seeing a large Japanese house with a patio and everything. "Welcome to your new home" said Bankotsu, as I blinked a few times. "What?" I questioned, as he smirked helping me inside. It was a traditional Japanese style house and then I paused when we entered one room, it was a Japanese style blacksmith's shop. Then once I turned my head my eyes widened seeing Banryu hanging against the wall. "Bankotsu" I said, as he smirked and placed his hand on my head. "I will use Banryu as I see fit, but for now I will leave it here" he said, as I smiled a bit. "You know if I didn't know better Bankotsu I would say your getting to be sweet on me" I said giggling, and then I paused as Bankotsu hugged me from behind. "I told the world already that you were mine after you left, and I swear to you Mizuki I will let nothing ever harm you" he said, as I blushed and just felt him hug me.
"Brother we need to" said a voice, as I looked and paused seeing Renkotsu standing at the door way. "Oh Renkotsu, what is it?" asked Bankotsu, as I paused feeling Renkotsu glaring towards us. "This isn't like you brother, giving everything up for a woman" he said, as Bankotsu sighed closing his eyes and stood up. "Renkotsu, Mizuki is now a member of the band of seven and if you have forgotten I claimed her as MY woman" he said, as I blushed bright red and looked at him shocked. "Right, forgive me brother" he said walking out and paused glancing back at me before fully walking away. Bankotsu sighed closing the door and sat down. "Why?" I said, as Bankotsu paused and looked at me. "Because you have done so much for me without really wanting anything in return, plus I like you. Even when your gone I can't stop thinking about you" he said, as I blushed more and smiled a bit. "Bankotsu!" shouted voices, as we stopped and looked at each other. Bankotsu grabbed my hand and we walked out of the house to the backyard and paused seeing Jakotsu and Suikotsu walking over with two large sacks. "Found the last two at last" said Suikotsu, as Bankotsu smirked. "Great, you two did great jobs" he said, as he turned to me. "Mizuki" he said, as I paused and looked at the sacks. Suddenly the words ran through my head. "I'm sorry child, but ye are only half as strong as ye sister" I stood there as they carefully unfolded the blankets revealing some dirt and bones. Bankotsu took my hand and made me stood before the two bones. "I can't" I said, as Jakotsu and Suikotsu glared at me a bit. "I'm not strong enough" I said, as I paused when Bankotsu held my hands. "I know you can do it Mizuki, I have seen you do it before" he said, as I sighed and took a step forward making Bankotsu let go of my hands. I held out my right hand and paused seeing it was shaking. I gulped and closed my eyes. However, nothing happened. I turned my head seeing everyone upset with me. "I'm sorry" I said bowing my head and walking away. "Mizuki" said Bankotsu, but pretty soon I began to run. I didn't get pretty far because Bankotsu jumped in front of me causing me to fall on my butt. He carried my bridal style and I gulped when he started taking me inside.
I was placed in a small room and paused as Bankotsu sat in front of me. "Okay what happened?" he asked, as I paused seeing him looking a little cross and sore. I lowered my head and soon told him everything. He clicked his tongue and then stood up. I looked at him seeing him heading for the door. "Bankotsu?" I questioned, as he stopped and looked back at me. "Stay here" he said, as I watched him exit my room slamming the door behind him. I waited a few hours and I looked outside waiting for him to come back or would even want to come back to see me? All these thoughts rushed into my head and I soon paused hearing the door opened. I smiled a bit looking at the door, but then stopped seeing Renkotsu. He took a step and I paused when he showed me his weapon. "I have been chosen to kill you" he said, as I stopped and then lowered my head. "Oh, I see" I said, as he paused. "Your not scared?" he questioned, as I shook my head. "No, I failed Bankotsu and I have disappointed the Band of seven my new family and my old one" I said, as Renkotsu knelt down in front of me and I paused when he tilted my chin towards him. "I see why big brother is so keen on you" he said, as I blinked a few times not exactly understanding what's going on. My eyes widened, as he held onto my chin tightly and started pulling my face closer towards him. "RENKOTSU" shouted a voice, as I paused seeing Bankotsu growling and crossing his arms. Renkotsu let me go and hpmhed turning away from me. He walked passed Bankotsu and I paused when Bankotsu walked towards me. I winced when he held my arms tightly and looked at him eyeing at me up and down. He soon sighed and then held my right hand. I then blinked a few times as a silver ring was placed on my hand. "What's this?" I asked, as he smirked. "A charm" he said, as I paused. "Charm?" I questioned "That's right it will help you unlock your full potential" he said, as my eyes widened. "Bankotsu where did you get this?" I asked, as he smirked and kissed my forehead causing me to blush. "Never mind that, let's just get back to our main focus alright?" he asked, as I smiled and nodded my head.
