I looked at my mate , Irayna ( it means Goddess of peace ) and she sighed.
"It wasn't my idea... I was out on a run with my best friend when we felt someone entering the territory. She's my Beta-to-be so she felt a bit of the connection, but my wolf and I felt it stronger. We were curious to whom have entered and so we climb a hill that overlooked the pack house..." She shuddered and I squeezed her hand letting her know , I was here.

She continued; "There he was. Dressed in all black formal clothes with his Beta behind him and some of his warriors. I thought nothing of it first, but then my parents called me over our family link and so I obeyed. My friend went back to her house and I went to my parents. I have a back door in my room that leads to the woods , so before meeting up with them , I changed into something suitable...They were in the study room at the time and he was there to. At first they introduced us and he had this sickly smiled while his eyes skimmed over my body. It was so gross. My wolf was on high alert. My parents then talked to him a bit before they broke the news for me. They wanted to leave their positions in three weeks time and because I was Alpha-to-be and I haven't found my mate, had they arranged a marriage with a strong Alpha from the Southern pack to be my mate. Our packs would've been merged together and be ruled by the both of us... We would've been forced to mate and that made me lose it. Cause I'm fucking eighteen, I have only been shifting for two years and I don't travel as much as my brother... I left the house and almost didn't return for a week. I stayed with my best friend... My parents , they were livid because I was so unprofessional towards my future husband ... They punished me. "Her voice croaked and I engulfed her in a tight hug.

Ferox was livid and so was I. She's the same age as me. I also don't travel as much... But to punish my mate because she was upset and wanted time to think... I felt my tshirt dampening. She was crying and so I let her. Her body was shaking from her sobbing and it was as if someone was repeatedly stabbing me with a blunt knife in my heart again and again.

I whispered soothing words into her ears and felt that she was starting to relax under my touch and under my words until I heard the soft snores and rhythm breathing indicatin she was sleeping.

I softly pulled the covers over her before grabbing our plates and tip toeing out of my room , softly closing the door behind me , and walking towards the kitchen.

'Can we kill her parents?' Ferox huffed and I agreed ... I wanted see the pain while I was slowly killing them. The pain that they have brought upon my mate...

The house was eerily quiet. 'They must be asleep.' I nodded and washed the plates before placing them back in their respective places.

Mom would kill me if I left them in the sink. I shuddered. My mom sometimes just scares me.

"Ah. Fancy seeing you up this late.... Just the she-wolf I was looking for..." The voice spoke seductively behind me...

OH MY! The mate finally has a name. Irayna. 😍 It is such a beautiful name.

Do you think the parents had the right to do that behind her back?
