Silence filled the room as my mate and I waited upon the answer.
"I think..." My mother started, but Savannah quickly decided to cut in.
"Are you stupid, pup!? Do you really think your little plan would work on us? First you harrass and threaten my son and now you want to keep my daughter away from her wedding all because she's your mate!" Her accusations were enough to send my mother into Luna mode and before my dad could stop her. Savannah was against the wall with my mother's hand neatly secured around her throat.
"I have told you once Savannah , and once was enough. Don't you dare speak to my daughter like that under my roof." Mother spoke calmly ,and her eyes were pure white. "I know you are Irayna's mother , but she's my daughter's mate and happiness and if you dare take away my daughter's happiness ... You get to deal with me. You are already giving her to an Alpha that isn't even her mate. So let my daughter be with her mate for two weeks." Mother's skin started to break as her fur started to sprout.
"Love. Go and run it off. I'll take care of it." My dad jumped to Savannah's rescue and my mother nodded. She knew that if she was going to shift here, Savannah might as well go dig her grave now. When a human has shifted into their wolf and the wolf knew you were threatening their pup... You could just sign you're death right there and then.
My mother nodded, quickly letting Savannah fall to the floor before running out of the living room's sliding door out into the woods.
We heard my mother's fierce howl after awhile.
Alpha Derec helped his wife onto her feet, before my father spoke. "What my wife did here I will not apologize for. You disrespected our daughter on our territory. So I ask of you, to pay for your mistake you must let your daughter stay here for the two weeks remaining and then we'll bring her back a day or two before the wedding. I will make sure of it myself." My father proposed and Irayna squeezed my hand , the both of us hoping that her mom would say yes.
Savannah looked at her husband for help. "Irayna may stay here for two weeks, but she must be back a day before the wedding." Alpha Derec spoke , shocking everyone including his wife.
My father nodd; "Thank you Alpha Derec. We will see you then." We waited until the Alpha, Luna and their son drove off towards their own pack before Irayna jumped into my arms, wrapping her legs around my waist, while I spun her around.
Now the real plan begun...
