Chapter 8 - Feathers, Peaches, and Cliffhangers

Chapter 8 - Feathers, Peaches, and Cliffhangers

"Okay, you can heal me, but what else can you do?" William asked excited, I liked him, I could feel how honest and pure he was. I knew I could trust him. I smiled.

"There is lots of things I can do, if I promise not to run, can we go outside? I can show you." I wouldn't run, I knew that much. Because I know if I left while William was with me, he could be in-trouble.

"They told me that we have to hang out in here. They are all having a meeting." William shrugged apologetically. I nodded, and tried to think. Then I smiled brightly, grabbing the pillow.

"William, you know what the elements are right?"

"Yep! Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. I learned from Avatar, he fights with all of them. Are you an Avatar?" William asked, excitedly.

"I guess you could call me that." I said smiling. I showed him the pillow, before I grabbed his hand. "Can you force your claws out yet?" I asked, he sadly shook his head no. I felt bad for even bringing it up. I pulled him into a hug, and discretely placed my hand on his back, thinking of his heart and making the weight of it lighter. It worked as usual and his mood brightened, it made me glad, for the few times in my life, to heal someone.

"Okay, watch." I imagined the pillow lifting in the air, and William laughed as it rose higher of the bed, then I imagined the air pulling and pushing out of the pillow, making it burst. Feathers floated all around us, and William giggled, I laughed with him. I made the feathers all twist like a tornado, adn let them all fall into a neat pile in the center of the bed.

"That is sooo cool! What else can you do?" He asked excitedly.

"Watch this." Ivy pushed forward in my mind, I knew she enjoyed William as much as I did. I made a few feathers float up, and William stared in awe.

"Pick and element." I said, William thought and with a burst of joy, he chose fire. I made the three feathers burn up, only small embers left, then using the element, I used water to kill the fire. William giggled when water sprayed on his face.

"What about earth?" William asked.

"Well, I cant do anything for earth, without being outside." I said, his smile dimmed, as he fell deep in thought. But seconds later he was grinning again, but he was looking behind me. I prayed silently that noone was behind me. But when I turned I saw nothing.

"The tree. I will be right back." William got up and ran out of the room, I figured I was supposed to wait here. After awhile, I began to get worried, and walked out of the room, only to be met by a bare chest and a girlish scream. I looked up in shock, to see Levi staring at me with his piercing green eyes. He covered up his boob muscle with his shirt.

"How could you! Trying to sneak a peak, at moi, it was sooo uncalled for. If you wanted to see my chest, all you need is ask. Not sneak around! And hiding in my closet? Creeper!" I would of thought he was serious, if not for the dramatic look, and the high pitch girly voice. I smiled at him, and his easy-go-lucky look vanished. What did I do? I looked to the ground, not knowing what in the world I did.

"Um, I have to, go find something." I mumbled, he obviously wasn't going to help me find William, I walked out the door, and with one final glance, I saw he was still staring at the spot I had been in. Was it because I smiled? He did the same thing last time. I walked through the hallway's making my way to the room, William and I had left. When the familiar door was in front of me, I knocked on the door.
