"Well this is just... peachy." Evelyn closes the door behind her after putting down a box with Natasha's stuff in it and takes a moment to look at Elise who is standing there with a book in her hands looking back at her slightly panicked. Evelyn scoffs a little. "Should've known you would be here. Couldn't even wait five seconds to swoop right in, could you?" Elise couldn't come up with a single thing to say as her mind went completely blank. Evelyn takes a few steps into the apartment. "Or am I wrong to assume you two aren't together now? Seeing how she stayed the night and all.." Looking for a reaction she cocked her head to one side and scoffs again. "Is she here?"

"Uhm.. she's-"

"I'm right here." Natasha answers with an annoyed tone and look on her face. She's leaning against the door frame of the bathroom in a change of clothes and a towel wrapped around her hair. Heaving witnessed the way Evelyn was acting towards Elise she walks out into the living room with her arms crossed. Noticing the concerned look on Elise's face she gives her nod which Elise returned. "Mind telling me what's going on here?" she says putting her focus back on Evelyn. "Because you're a bit early aren't you." She sees the key to her apartment dangling on Evelyn's finger and her eyes shoot up with a scowl on her face. "You used the key to get in? I heard the doorbell, you had no reason to think I was here! Why come in anyway?!"

Elise her eyes shoot back and forth from Natasha to Evelyn, not knowing what to do. She decides that the best thing to do is to probably look down pretending to be invisible.
'Oh boy.. I'm just gonna keep my head low, keep the focus off me, minding my own business and try to keep out of the crossfire.'

"Because I.. I didn't want to see you." she says surprised being confronted like that. "I thought I could do this, see you and maybe talk about what happened but the more I thought about it I couldn't. So I decided to give you back the things you left at my place and leave without having to see you right now." She looks at Elise, rolls her eyes and immediately dropped to an annoyed tone again. "And I definitely didn't want to see her."

'And bang.. I'm down.. So much for staying out of the crossfire.. Perfect..' Her eyes shoot up to meet Evelyn's for a second but then looks back down to the book in her hands, deciding it was safer not to get dragged into the conversation any deeper.

Natasha is growing more and more agitated by Evelyn's attitude and takes a deep breath trying to calm herself down. "Listen, I know that you're hurt and I get that you want to lash out right now, but this isn't the way. What may or may not have happened between Elise and me, I'm sorry but.. that is none of your business." Evelyn scoffs again and looks away while shaking her head. "What?" Natasha says with an equally annoyed tone.

"Are you seriously telling me that nothing happened between the two of you last night? She is right here and looking very guilty to me I might add. I can put two and two together, Natasha."

"Again.. none of your business!" Natasha again takes a deep breath while pressing her lips together. "I'm trying real hard to be the bigger person right now but you are making this very hard for me." She looks at Elise and feels the anger fade a bit and then focuses back on Evelyn. "If you are going to be this way to anyone, be that way to me and leave her out of this, okay! I'm sorry for the way I acted and I'm sorry for leaving you the way I did last night. I'm sorry for breaking your heart, for leading you on when at the time I didn't realize who my heart truly belonged to. But that doesn't make it alright for you to come into my home and just act like this."
Evelyn looks down to the floor trying to ignore the harsh expression on Natasha's face.
"It's not that I didn't care for you, I really did and I certainly did not do this to spite you because you deserve the world! But you gave me a choice that you already knew the outcome of. You presented a way out of our relationship and you took it just as much as I did. So I'm not going to apologize for the fact that I followed my heart!"
Natasha calms herself down a bit and looks at Evelyn with a neutral expression and walks over to the coffee table to get the box with Evelyn's stuff in it to then hand it over to her. "I think you should go."
