(Darria's point of view)

I am truly tired, I have been traveling for the past couple of years but I missed my family so I decided to go home.

When I finally reached Rivendell, I immediately ran up to meet my sister and dad. When I reached the library both of them were there.

"Guess who is back?" I said and both of them turned towards me with big smiles. Arwen ran up and hugged me. "Finally,I have missed you, sister" I huckled. She let go of me and my father stepped up next in line to welcome me home. "Welcome home, lellig (daughter)" he said. I smiled "Hannon le, ada ( thank you father)".

...

It have been 2 days since I got back and today the council was being held. Nobody except my father and sister knew I was back. This should be fun, I thought.

I was sitting amongst the other because I didn't feel like a princess and didn't like to sit on my throne, which was next to my fathers.

"Strangers from distant lands, friends of old. You have been summoned here to answer the threat of Mordor. Middle-Earth stands upon the brink of destruction. None can escape it. You will unite or you will fall. Each race is bound to this fate–this one doom." my father started the council.

"Bring forth the ring Frodo" a small hobbit rises and places a ring , the ring of power, on a table in the middle. whispers can be heard. "It is a gift. A gift to the foes of Mordor. Why not use this Ring? Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor, kept the forces of Mordor at bay. By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe! Give Gondor the weapon of the Enemy. Let us use it against him!" Boromir son of Denethor stands up. I hate that guy, I thought. But I will be silent for my father's sake.

"You cannot wield it! none of us can" Aragorn says to the man "and what would a mere ranger know of that matter?" Boromir asked looking straight at Aragorn. "This is no mere ranger this is Aragorn son of Arathorn" Legolas said standing up. "this is Isildur heir?" Boromir looked shocked "and the heir to the throne of Gondor, you owe him your allegiance" "Havo dad, Legolas (sit down Legolas)" Aragorn motioned for the elf to sit. "Gondo has no king. Gondor needs no king." Boromir said before sitting down himself.

"Yet your father thinks of himself as one" I said from my seat. All eyes turned to me. Boromir stood up and walked to stand in front of me. "Who are you to speak such words about my father? A woman should not even be here, you should go help the other maids" the man spit in my face. But before I could speak up both aragorn and Legolas dragged him away from me. Legolas has always been like a big brother to me and Aragorn is my best friend. "I am Darria Undómiel, daughter of Elrond. But you would know me as 'Lady of battle'. I said while getting closer to were Aragorn and Legolas were holding Boromir.

"Lady of battle? But.. but.." the man could not find words. "Everybody take your places, Boromir I will not tolerate you talking to my daughter like that" my father said "I am truly sorry my lord" he answered bowing his head in an apology.

I took my place and anger consumed me, I stopped listening to what was said until I heard everybody yelling at each other. "ENOUGH!" I yelled "If you all would stop screaming at each other you would hear the hobbit and what he has to say" I said with now everyone looking at me and then at the only hobbit in the room. "I will take the ring, but I do not know the way" he repeated himself. "I will help you bear this burden Frodo as long as it is yours to bear" said Gandalf as he approached the hobbit. I felt like I had to go, to protect him. I stood up.

"I may be a woman but I am skilled in more than just battle. I will keep you save even if it means my death" I said and he hugged me "thank you" I nod my head. Then Aragorn joins the company and Legolas and Gimli and.... Boromir. This is going to be interesting. The second my father was going to speak three hobbits runs up to us

"Hey! Mr. Frodo is not leaving without us." says one of them "And by the way you need somebody of intelligence on this.... thing. I chuckled, as did everyone else.

"Ten companions. So be it! You may be the fellowship of the ring" My father states proudly and then everybody begins to leave except some. My father, Gandalf, Legolas and Aragorn all turned to me with serious faces. "What have I done this time?" I ask them. "Why? why would you volunteer to go on this quest?" starts Aragorn. "Because I feel the need to protect Frodo. I don't se a problem I was traveling alone for years and nobody cared so why start caring now?" I asked both confused and kinda sad. Aragorn turned toward the others. "Did you let her alone for years? why was I not informed?" Aragorn asked them they all shrugged.
"I am coming whether you like it or not" I said and turned to leave. I heard them whisper as I was walking away.

When I got to my chamber I packed and got ready for the quest ahead of me. When I was done I layed down in my bed and fell asleep.
