I was shaken awake as I turned to see my sister.
"What are you doing here?" She questioned.
"I ran after you. This was the place that made sense for you to go. When Jamie and I..." I started.
"Jamie is here?" She demanded.
"Yeah. He's in Mom and Dad's room." I spoke.
"It's nine o'clock. He needs to get to school and we need to get home." Sawyer stated.
I looked around and then got up. We went into my parents room and Jamie was passed out. I walked over to him and lightly pushed his shoulder. When he gave no response I pushed him harder and he instantly looked up.
"What?" He demanded.
"It's nine o'clock. We gotta go." I demanded.
He jumped up and we ran back towards home. Once we got there I found all of our parents sitting in the living room, looking exhausted.
"Hey. What's up?" Jamie asked once we got in.
"Where were you guys! We expected you home almost four hours ago!" Haley shouted.
"We've been asleep. None of us remembered to set alarms. We're here now and we're good." I spoke.
"How about you Sawyer?" Mom asked.
"I haven't ran this much since I stopped playing basketball." She whispered.
"You know that's not what your Mom was talking about." Dad sighed.
"I'm... I'm good. I slept it off and was happy to find Blakely and Jamie at the house when I woke up." She smiled.
"James, go up stairs and getting dressed so I can get you to school. Brooke took Lydia and Carter to high school for me today." Aunt Haley said.
Jamie nodded and ran upstairs as I looked at my parents.
"You two need to go get ready so we can head to the house we're renting for a while." Dad sighed.
We nodded and ran upstairs to grab out backpacks with our clothes in it then we changed. I put on a grey off the shoulders sweater with a pair of black ripped up skinny jeans and a pair of shoes that are almost like ballet flats. When I walked out I saw Sawyer and my parents and then I ran over to them and we walked out to the car and started our drive.
It took about ten minutes for us to get to a beach house where we walked in. It was absolutely beautiful. (Picture is attached to this chapter.)
I looked around in absolute amazement.
"We're gonna live here until we finish the remodel?" I demanded.
"Yeah. We bought this place. When we were kids, your Grandpa Dan owned a house not to far from here and the teens would throw wild parties here. We're not saying that you guys can throw out of hand parties but if you want a place to kind of relax and hang out with a couple friends then you can do it here. We just need to know about it first." Mom spoke.
I looked at her in shock.
"You have to be kidding me!" I exclaimed.
"Nope. No kidding." Dad laughed.
I looked at Sawyer as she gave me a grin.
"This is going to be awesome." She said and nodded.
"Hey, Dad? Can we... Can we go to school?" I asked.
"If you want." Mom said a little shocked.
"You weren't supposed to start until tomorrow, though." Dad added.
"I want to go today." I nodded.
"Are we gonna be at the same school as the others?" Sawyer asked.
"Yeah. Everyone goes to there. It's the only high school in One Tree Hill." Dad said.
"Sweet." I nodded then Sawyer and I ran outside.
"Hey! Forgetting something?" Mom questioned, with her smile.
"No..." We both spoke.
Mom threw Sawyer the keys as the garage opened. Sitting inside of the garage was a 1968 Mercury Comet, convertible soft top. The exterior was a glistening red and the interior was a demanding red.
