Jack's POV

"...what?" I said with confusion watching both of them.

"Jack- just let me explain" Finn said grabbing my hands.

"What the hell?!" I said pushing his hands off of me.

"Damn, can you just listen to your damn boyfriend?" Noah suddenly yelled.

I watched him with anger, turning back to Finn.

"Why?!"

"I went through a hard time! Did you think I was all okay while you were with your mother sobbing the whole time?" Finn asked with a frown.

"Okay, so?! What the heck did that have to do with Noah?" I asked getting angry again.

"Nothing.. I just felt so... so lonely, Jack. So fucking lonely" he said letting out a sigh.

I looked at him seeing the guilt in his eyes. I suddenly felt bad and tapped his shoulder.

"Ugh.. it's okay I guess.." I said looking down in confusion. Did he do that because he was in pain?

"No. It's not okay. He kissed me back" Noah replied staring at us.

"Did you actually think I-"

"Noah, calm down. It was just a kiss. Leave them alone. It's not like they haven't gotten in too much drama already" Sophia interrupted Finn.

Noah opened his mouth to say something, but he closed it right before. He nodded and we all went back inside.

Sophia grabbed my shoulder bringing me closer to her.

"He's sorry."

"What?"

"Finn. He is really sorry. You don't actually know how he was acting before you came back. He never talked to us" Sophia said moving her sparkling blue eyes to Finn.

"Oh..."

"No, it's okay. I would be mad too. But he just couldn't help it" she smiled before sitting next to Caleb and Sadie who were eating popcorn.

I ruined his birthday party. Great.

I went to sit next to him, but he got up and asked, "Hey, let's watch a horror movie."

The others shouted in excitement. I loved horror movies, but this wasn't a perfect moment. I could see it through Noah's eyes too.

While the film was playing, I noticed the smile Finn had before faded and it wasn't because of the movie, he barely even watched it.

I put my hand over his and his eyes intersected with mine. I suddenly got all red, making him smile.

"Is it okay if you come with me to the bathroom?" I asked full of hope.

"Uh yeah sure, I guess" he said in confusion.

The others watched us as we got up and headed over to the bathroom. Gaten's laugh covered the silence and the others told him to shut up.

"Why did you bring me here? I thought you hated me?" Finn fake laughed when we got there.

"I don't hate you, dumbass. I'm just really mad. But whatever, I shouldn't be because it was an accident, right?"

"Of course it was an accident. I wouldn't kiss Noah-"

"You just did"

"I thought we both said it was an accident?!" he asked a frown forming on his face.
