This story is about Brennan coming home after being shot to recover with her husband (Booth) and best friend (Angela) help there's a surprise that B&B didn't expect.
Chapter 1
2 weeks later
It was early in the morning when Brennan's eyes fluttered open to see her handsome husband sitting next to her watching her sleep and so she asked him "Morning Booth"
"Morning Bones"
"Can I go home now because hate laying on this hard ass bed and I really want to sleep on a regular soft bed and sleep next to my sexy husband"
"Lucky for you the doctor said you can go home today and recover but he said no work for a month," he said.
Brennan looked at him with eyes but Booth didn't notice so he said
"Here's your pain meds for the month and the doctor said if you're still in pain after a month then come and see him, and bones do you need help putting your clothes on because I will be glad to help, he said with confidence."
"No booth I can take care of my self just let me put my clothes on myself please".Booth was slightly disappointed by what she said.
When she nearly falls that's when Brennan asks for booths help booth just laughs at Brennan's insecurity then he helps her.
___________30 minutes later___________
"I don't want to get in the wheelchair, I'm not invalid I can walk", Brennan said,
" Well you have to because it's hospital policy ", said Booth.
"Okay then only because I have to, but if this wasn't hospital policy I would have walked",
"I know sweetheart now let's get out of here", as booth push Brennan's wheelchair out the hospital doors.
__________An hour half later__________
As they pull up in the driveway their 2 and a half-year-old daughter Christine came running outside to her mother saying "Mommy" Brennan smiled and got down on one knee and hugged Christine and said "I missed you so much" then Christine says "I missed you too",
Max smiled and said "She was an angel while you were gone Tempe",
Brennan said "Thanks dad for taking care of Christine while I was gone",
"You welcome Tempe anything for my grand-daughter," Max says back
"Booth can you help me up the stairs and into our bed please," Brennan said,
"Of course sweetheart anything for you", Booth says
then Brennan kissed him on the cheek "Thanks for being there for me through all of this", "You welcome you know I'll do anything for my one and only true love",
"I love you too booth" then they kissed again.
As she goes to her and booth's room, booth helps Brennan into the bed and then he lays next to her, A few minutes later Max puts Christine in her crib for her nap. Max peeks in the master bedroom and tells Booth and Brennan "I'm leaving but I'll see you tomorrow Tempe",
"OK bye dad, bye Max," they both say together
Later that day booth cooked dinner for the three of them, Booth woke up Christine, she ate her dinner and fell right to sleep after, then booth went upstairs and gave Brennan her food in bed
"Take pain meds before you eat your food" booth said
So, she took her meds ate half her food and then fell sleep, booth gave her a kiss on the head and said "Good night and I love you bones", and went downstairs to clean the kitchen and then watched television, later that night he went up and went to bed peacefully.
