The door opened. Anna slammed the door and locked it after me whilst John wrapped his arms around me and dragged me back to the little spot that the pair had claimed. Mary's pained screeches could be heard by all and we all couldn't help but shudder with fear. Tears left the eyes of everyone I knew. The teacher was scared shitless too. She gave me a look that seemed to read, "i was right" even though she didn't say it, I nodded in reply. Anna and John sat close, rubbing my back comfortingly. Mary, Malia, I lead them to their deaths for a boy we didn't even find. I lead them to their deaths, like a lamb to slaughter! I should've just went by myself and forced them to stay here.

Anna looked me in the eyes, shaking my shoulder softly. I looked at her and she knelt in front of me. Her hands moved to my face, placing themselves on my cheeks and wiping away tears and tear stains with her thumb. Her brown eyes gazed into mine, "Hey, buddie, breathe. It's okay, it's okay. You're safe. We're not gonna let you get hurt."

"It's not me, that I'm worried about." I replied, leaning against the wall. What about them, what about Robbie? What about Matt or Connor and Kai? Chelsea and Emily? Alicia, Isabelle, Kaylah, Hannah and Kiara? Where they okay? Were they still alive and healthy? I know some of them have conditions like asthma, others a little autistic and some were ADHD and Dyslexic whilst most of the others had depression, some with anxiety and then there was one with OCD. I know the fits that some of them could work themselves into, and I could only hope that nothing bad happened to them.

Anna stood and walked over to John once I reassured her that I was ok. She cast a look at me sadly over her shoulder before the dark haired girl started to talk to the tall boy about something. John had always been the guy she confided in and more recently the guy who was taking my spot in helping her carry out her schemes, essentially taking over the role of being the Kronk to her Yzma.

"Anna, you will have to tell Simon about what you did. You have to tell him." I overheard him say, wait, what did she do?

Anna walked over to me and asked the same question everyone had been asking me every few minutes, "Hey, Si, you ok?"

"No, Annie, I didn't want anyone to die." I said to her, truthfully as possible. She nodded.

Anna walked over to the teacher, then someone said, "Has- has anyone even called the police?" Everyone was silent for several minutes. I got up and walked over slowly to the window and slowly lifted up the curtains and just out of the window, on the ground floor across the oval, there was a police car hurtling across the field with lights flashing and sirens blaring, with both front doors to the school wide open.

I told the teacher to come over to the window and look at the police car. The teacher told us to just stay in the classroom. She called the principal to see if she could find where police are in the school. The principal looked through all of the cameras' but she couldn't find them anywhere so the principal called the police again, but the call would not go though, then the power went out. We had communication with the outside world. A lot of people were thinking that the killer had cut the power, so did I. There was another announcement, "More people will be hurt if you don't hand in Simon Grenwick to in principal's office." There was a pause as the P.A system cut out, the man's disgustingly husky voice stated, "The cops that are locked in the basement, don't even think of going down into the basement or I will shoot."
