We're all just huddling and cowering in the corner of the classroom, the teacher finally managed to restore order amongst us, we were waiting with baited breath, staring anxiously at the door waiting for something to happen, the fear, stress and uncertainty slowly infecting us with seeds of paranoia and madness into our minds.

It seemed like the petrified silence would last forever until we finally heard it. A scream, a loud, and terrified scream. Next comes a frantic banging on the door as we hear whoever's outside screaming and crying. The bravest students go up to the door and peer through the window to see who's at the door, it's Mary.

My eyes widen with shock, holy shit, "Let her in! Whoever's out there will kill her if we don't let her in!" I yelled angrily, "Her life is at stake! We let them in, why can't we let her in too!"

"Help! Help me! Please.." She cried desperately through her tears.
"Quick, he's getting closer, I'm scared, someone let me in! Please!"

I couldn't just let her die, I couldn't. My hand reached for the handle quickly opened the door and it swung open just giving Mary enough room to get through the door before the killer could take a swing at her with whatever weapon he had. I quickly locked the door again and jumped back out of the way

After we shut the door
we see Mary's attempted killer's face pressed up against the glass of the door window. Trying to peer through it to look at us.

We all jump back away from the door in fright, back towards the rest of the group. My phone buzzed, I received a text from Kai, softly I held it up to them and read it out. "Hey where the hell is everyone."

That's when my heart stopped. My teacher was extremely against letting me leave the classroom, talking about how if I die that my parents will sue her and how she was broke already. Malia rolled her eyes. She had no time for sob stories from a divorced forty year olds money issues. Her boyfriend was out there and she was getting him. Mary, although incredibly shaken from the ordeal stood up. "Let me go with you guys. I can help, I promise."

"No," miss Nelson spat, "none of you are leaving this room. Get back here!" We left anyway. Kai was in danger, if not already hurt.

"Split up," Malia suggested as we came to a fork in the path, she took Mary and went down the hallway to the north block of buildings whilst I got a move on down the east hallway, and get another text from Kai, 'help, in the locker room' it read

I begun to double back, charging of as quietly as I could towards the boys locker room. I hear footsteps behind me, for some reason I turn to see Malia and Mary, "Thank God." I said, "For a second there I thought you were the killer Mal."

"Kai's my boyfriend, I'm not just going to let him die." She replied in the strongest tone she could and for a moment. I could see her mask of strength break. I shook my head in disbelief, no, this couldn't be happening. The lines of lockers and then the ten, long isles that the lockers that couldn't fit on the wall created. I looked back to Malia and Mary, expecting at least one of them to say something logical considering my mind was completely blank at the moment. I'd never been the best at plan making anyways, better just leave it to someone smarter and more strategic. Malia took a breath in, looking at the ragtag little trio we made up before saying the thing you should never say in horror movies unless you are literally just asking to die, "Split up, again. Mary, you go right, I'll go left, Simon, take the centre."
