~Kelsey Montoya dyed red hair~

We arrived in at the center the family reunion was taking place. "Heads up. My family is very competitive and your acceptance depends on you winning some games. We play a lot of games in the adult section. Este will stay with my sister, Kelsey. She hates reunions."

We hopped out the car. I unstrapped Este out and held him on my hip. I was dressed in a tight crop top, shorts, and a pair of old vans. Alex wrapped his arm around my waist, the other in his hair. He wore a converse shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and converse. We walked to his dad. "Alex!" He gave his dad a bro hug. "Hey. This is my girlfriend Kirianna and our son Estevier." His dad looked at us. "I'm Reneiry but I guess you call me dad. I remember you."

I smiled at the distant memory of meeting Alex's dad.

"I'm a grandad. Oh god." He smiled. He asked for our baby. I gladly gave Este to his grandad. He rocked him. "Looks just like Alex." I looked up at my boyfriend, smirking. He led me over to a shorter woman who's hair was in red and straddled on her shoulders.

"Kelsey! This is my love, my heart, Kirianna." He wrapped his arms around me, kissing my head.

Suddenly he became clingy.

"Hi. Nice to meet you." She smiled at me. "You have to baby sit our eight month son." He gave her Este's Spiderman diaper bag.
She nodded. Alex cuddled me closer. "Oh I wish I had somebody. But sadly I got played by Romeo Rivera." I gasped. "You too, huh?" She nodded. Now I understand why Alex did what he did in the past. Everything pieces together, except one thing. "Alex. How old were you when your mom past?" He hooked our fingers together as we walked to the first event."I was a couple months old." I nodded. He wasn't even old enough to remember how his mom died. His Uncle was getting all the young and old couples to an area filled with plastic navy blue seats. "Here the men sit in the seats and their corazon on their lap. Whoever lasts longest wins ten bucks." I sat backwards on the chair, as Alex sat frontwards. He patted my thighs, waiting patiently. "So we get paid to do what we already do?" I asked him. "We're totally gonna win. They'll have to drag us out." We chuckled as he started to begin. We giggled into our kiss. Later in the moment, it became more sweet and spicy. He massaged my inner thigh. I wrapped my arms around his neck, tilting my head.

"Ding ding ding we have a winner!" Alex pulled me closet, deeping the kiss. "Baby. We won." I mumbled against his lips. He pulled away. We got our flimsy ten dollars and went to the next event. I checked the time. We kissed for an hour straight. The rest of events were fun and I gained my acceptance of Alex's family. We gathered around tables to eat.

It was late and everybody had left. It was just his dad and sister. His dad and he had a cigarette. "Hey um... Dad? What happened to Esther." Esther was Alex's mom's name. Reneiry let out a sigh. "The truth is... Alex:
Your mom and I split before your birth. I was there for the delivering of you and she gave me a note and told me to take you home and take care of you. Her boyfriend, at the time, was abusive and he,... beat her to death because you weren't his. I'm sorry." Alex spent all his twenty five years thinking his mom died naturally. While in reality, a tragic reality, she was beaten to death. Alex dropped his cigarette. His mouth was open slightly. He put his hands on his face. "Oh my God." I stood in front of him, grabbing his hands. I looked at his face, so broken, I wiped his tears. "It wasn't your fault." I whispered to him. I watched the tears roll down his face. Before I knew it, I was crying with him.
