Cindy's POV

I waited outside of the changing room for the boys. Marcus walks out looking very upset.

"Let's go. I'll give you a ride home." Marcus says and I nod.

We walk out to the parking lot and get inside of the car.

He sighs.

"I'm so fucking pissed." he groans.

"About the red card or something—."

"Lucia broke up with me." he cuts me off. "She says that she can't see a future with me anymore."

I sit there in disbelief. They seemed so happy with each other.

"It's all over social media. This happened in public and we thought that nobody was around. But somebody was and they took pictures, videos, or whatever. They didn't hear about the reason why we broke up though because once we heard the camera click and the flash go off, we went into my car to talk." he tells me.

He continues, "I was already pissed off before the match and now I'm even more pissed because he had to kick at me and I got a red card for what I did back."

"That was really shit though. The ref didn't see him kick out at you and wouldn't listen to anyone as much as we tried to tell him. Honestly, you should've just done it harder." I shrug and Marcus laughs but stops.

"Oh my god, I am so pissed still." he says and hits the steering wheel.

"Marcus, I think you should calm down—."

"Don't tell me to calm down!" he yells.

It turns quiet.

"I'm sorry Cindy." he says.

I stay quiet.

"Come on. Please, you know I didn't mean it." he begs.

Marcus is really a lovely guy, the most sweetest boy ever. He is, but sometimes his temper gets the best of him. I understand because my temper had always got the best of me until the boys helped me learn to control it.

I turn to look at him.

I sigh and smile. "It's okay Rashy. I understand. Look at the bright side thought. At least we won."

"Yeah, at least we did." he smiles back.

"Cheer up. We are most likely gonna celebrate tonight but I'm gonna tell whoever got into the England Squad to NOT drink. You've got training soon."

"Fine." he replied.

We chatted more about the breakup during the car ride and I made him cheer up.

"She didn't deserve a guy like you. You'll find someone better." I smile although my heart breaks saying that out loud. I wish that the better person was me.
