I run down the stairs and open my front door.

"Hey. " I smile.

Marcus stood there holding a bouquet of my favorite flowers in his hand. I gasp.

He smiles back. "Hey beautiful. Can we talk?"

I nod and step outside onto my porch.

He gives me the bouquet and stares into my eyes. He seems to be looking for the right words to say.

"Cindy.." he starts off. "I didn't tell you this but her and I broke up because she thought I had feelings for you. I never wanted to admit it because I thought I didn't. I gave it a lot of thought and I realized that I DO. But I just never wanted to admit it because I thought you wouldn't feel the same."

He pauses before continuing again. I gave him a sincere looking, nodding at him to continue. I was honestly gushing inside.

"I realized that I was so blind that I never saw the person I needed most standing right in front of me, all this time." he paused once again.

At this point of time, I was smiling and blushing super hard.

"Cindy, you're the person I need. I really like you.. Like a lot. I hope it's not too late." he looks down sadly.

"Marcus." I say making him look at me. "I just want to know first that I'm not a rebound.. that I'm not being used so you can get over her."

"I promise you, you're not. I really have fallen for you." he replies.

I smile. "Well then in that case, I feel the same way about you. I like you a lot too.. and I have for a long time." I smile.

Marcus smiles widely. His cute smile warms my heart.

He picks me up and hugs me, spinning me around making me laugh.

He stops and we stare at each other in the eyes, before smashing our lips together. I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

It was a slow and gently, but yet, passionate kiss that I feel like we both held back on for long, finally being able to do it now. A long awaited kiss.

We end the kiss and he sets me down. We're both smiling like crazy.

"Come inside." I tell him.

We both walk inside of my house and sit down in the living room.

"Wanna FaceTime Jesse?" Marcus asks and laughs. "He's been wanting us together for a long time."

"Yeah, sure. But before we do, I have a question." I reply.

"Hm?" he looks at me.

"Are we exclusive or in a real relationship? What are we now?" I ask in confusion.

"I want you to be mine and mine only and I want to be yours and yours only. So any would work for me. We can start off exclusive but wait until the future baby girl." he winks.

I blush. "Okay."

Marcus rings up Jesse on his phone. It looks like Marcus is all alone but I am actually next to Marcus, with his arm around me.

Jesse almost immediately answers.

"Hey, so did you do anything, make a move or what?!" Jesse asks eagerly.

I hold my laughter in.

"I did but she rejected me.." Marcus sadly says.

Jesse looks at the camera confused and surprised.

"Just kidding." Marcus says and quickly pans the camera to me.

Jesse starts screaming. "OH MY DAYS! AHH!"

"Oh my gosh, shut up." I laugh and blush. I cover my face with my hand.

"Hey.." Marcus frowns. He moves my hand off of my face. "You're stunning. Don't hide that gorgeous face.. ever."

"Awee, stop it handsome." I say and kiss him.

"OH MY GOODNESSSS!" Jesse yells again.

We all laugh.

"Okay, I'm third-wheeling really hard right now so I'm gonna leave you two alone." Jesse says.

"Okayy, bye Jess—."

"AND WAIT!" he cuts us off. "Remember to use protection." he winks.

"Oh my— goodbye." we both say in unison and hang up.

I look up at Marcus.

"Do you want to stay at mine or go back home to yours? I don't want you to leave me yet. Your embrace makes me feel safe." I frown.

He smiles. "Do you want to come to mines?  I don't want to leave you either, I'm glad that I make you feel safe. You make me feel like the luckiest boy alive. You can bring your clothes.. or wear mine. And I'll drive you to St. George's tomorrow."

"And YOU make me feel like the luckiest girl alive." I smile. " But nah, I don't want to make you do too much for me already." I reply.

He clicks his tongue. "No, come on. I really don't mind at all and plus, I insisted. Please come to mines, if you want. I don't want to force you."

I smile at him. "Okay."

I get up to go get my clothes and Marcus follows along.

I quickly grab my clothes and we head back downstairs. I grab my keys and wallet before we go outside.

He opens the car door for me.

"Awe, thank you bubs." I smile.

"Anything for you." he replies before closing the door and quickly jogging over to the other side to get in the car.

Off to his' we go.
