Jesse and I continued on playing FIFA until we heard the door open.
I paused the game and went over to the front door immediately. I see Marcus with a bunch of gifts in his hands.
He smiles and walks over to me, hand me a bouquet of yellow flowers. I love yellow flowers.
I smiled back and sniffed the flowers. I put my arm around his neck and kissed him.
"Thank you baby. You're so sweet." I said to him.
"Of course babe. I want to tell you something.." Marcus tells me.
I look up at him.
He starts off. "I know right now is a tough time for you. Even for me too, but I'll always put you first. I love you so much, Cindy. And I hate to see you sad. Every time I see you, I feel at ease, like all of my problems are gone. A smile spreads across my face and I don't even notice it. You're the most optimistic person I know. I promise you I'll treat you so well. I promise to give you everything I possibly can, I'll give you the world. I give you my whole heart. I promise to never stop loving you. I will always love you as I always have been."
Marcus takes a deep breath before continuing on.
"Words cannot explain how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I will never get tired of saying the three words, 'I love you' to you all of the time. And I want to ask you a question."
Tears fill my eyes already.
"Don't cry." Marcus laughs and wipes my tears with his thumbs.
He pulls out a small box and opens it up. Inside is a ring.
I gasp. No way he is proposing? We're not even an actual couple though.
He gets down on one knee. "I promise to give you the world and to never stop loving you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Even more tears start flowing out. "Yes Marcus! Of course I will."
He stands up and picks me up, spinning me around.
He places me down and kisses me on the lips repeatedly.
"I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you so much." He says between each kiss.
He puts the ring on one of my fingers.
"I love you from the moon and back." I reply.
"I AM CRYING, MY HEART!" Jesse screams.
We start laughing at him.
"Okay, now pose for the picture." Jesse says to us.
We turn to him and pose.
