Cindy's POV

I got into the car.

"Hey, you look really stunning." Marcus compliments.

Jesse scoffs and shakes his head at Marcus.

"Hey Cindy. And yeah, you look gorgeous." Jesse compliments as well.

"Thank you guys. You both look great as well."

Marcus never complimented me like this before. I mean he does compliment me but for some reason, this gives off a different vibe.. and why did Jesse scoff and shake his head at Jesse?

I brush it off since it probably doesn't even mean anything.

"Don't drink too much." I say bluntly. "I'm serious. I find out that you're drinking a lot and I WILL kick your asses."

"Yes ma'am." they obey.

They know damn well that I most definitely will kick their asses if they do because I already have before and I will do it again if I have to.

We joked around and sang a lot in the car throughout the entire car ride. Before I knew it, we had already arrived.

We entered the club and sat at our private booth waiting for all of the guys to come.

One by one, they came and we all did our handshakes with each other.

Marcus and Jesse went to go dance and I went to go to the bar for a drink.

Marcus' POV

Jesse and I went to go dance which is halfway across the room from the bar.

I saw Cindy at the bar and watched her as I danced. I never realized how stunning she is, Jesse is right. And not only she's stunning, but her personality is truly amazing. She's been there for not only me but for the rest of the guys. Thinking about it, she really does love me..

Damn, have I really been this blind all along?

I snap out of my thoughts when I see a guy standing next to Cindy. She looks super uncomfortable.

I stop dancing making Jesse look at me and then following the direction to where my eyes are aimed at.

The guy grabs her wrist and she's struggling to break free. I run through the crowd, pushing people away to the side. Jesse runs after behind me. I get to the bar and push the guy away. I then grab him and have my fist back to punch him.

"MARCUS, NO!" Cindy yells through the music.

Jesse grabs the guy and I run to her.

"Are you okay? Is your wrist okay?" I ask concerned.

I grab her wrist to inspect it. There was hand marks from how hard he grabbed her.

"I'm okay, thank you so much Rash. But do NOT punch people because you cannot get in trouble, okay? Control it." she replies and laughs.

"Of course, anything for you." I smiled.

Cindy and I headed back to the booth. Jesse let the guy go and went back to dance.

"I just saw Marcus push someone, what happened?" Romelu asks.

"Some asshole grabbed her wrist really hard and wouldn't let go." I replied.

Everyone looked at her for an explanation of why he did that.

"The guy was under the influence of alcohol. He offered to buy me a drink but I refused. He then wanted to take me to a private room, God knows what could've happened. And then when I refused again, he got angry and tried to pull me there. Thankfully Marcus came and pushed him away." she smiled and put her head on my shoulder.

We stayed at the club for a little more and I stayed with Cindy for the rest of the night.

"You ready to leave now?" I ask Cindy and she nods.

Jesse is getting a ride home from one of the other guys so it'll just be Cindy and I.

I opened the car door for her and she got in. I went around and got in the car.

We laughed together throughout the rest of the car ride to her home.

"Hey, remember when we used to ride scooters together all the tine and one time we raced and I beat you?" she says.

I roll my eyes and laugh. "That was once."

Cindy and I knew each other a long time ago when we were little kids.

She has an American accent though because she was born in America, raised there until she was 10 and moved here after.

"And remember when I pushed you in the pool but you didn't know how to swim so I got in trouble?" I bring up.

We laugh again.

"At least you saved me." she laughs. "Ahh, good times, good times."

I pulled up into her driveway.

"Thank you for the ride and protecting me tonight." she smiles. "Made me feel better and safe for the rest of the night."

"Hey, of course. You're always there for me so there was I, being there for you."

There was a moment of silence as we stared into each other's eyes.

I had a strong urge to kiss her.

She had a strong urge to kiss me.

I try to fight off the urge. Not just yet, I just got out of a relationship.

But I know that I can't fight it off much longer in the future.

I really guess that they've been right.

I guess that I've been in denial this whole time about having feelings for Cindy.
