I don't know why i kissed him, it wasn't a lovey dovey kiss, it was a small peck.

Right before i released the kiss between us Marcus bit my bottom lip and was holding it in his mouth as he spoke

"What are you doing" he said sexually

"Nothing" i reply

This was so freaking awkward right now

"Your clearly doing something if i got ya lip in between my teeth"

I chuckle nervously and he lets me go.

"It was just an appreciation kiss, someone in my life thats as great as you really and that you let me stay here and i love you Mar as a bestfriend because of it."

"I love you too brook, don't start catching feelings for me because i will but you out." he says and i laugh at him.

"Never!" i wink jokingly

"I love Troy too much" i say

"You don't love him, you like him a lot and i don't know why but that aint love Brooklyn."

"Well he says he sees me with him for the rest of his life!"

"You and every other girl"

"You don't know that" i say

"Brooklyn i never told you this but we don't like each other because we used to work for the dude Sam and we was cool he told me stories of how he played girls and allat. But you do you don't be crying to me when you he break ya heart." He said so seriously as he. Started walking out the room.

"I wont because he loves me" i yell to him.

He slams the door.

Hours passed and i had to go to work. I had recently got a job at Food Lion and i didn't really know all the ropes and stuff. But anyway i put on my khakis and my orange Food Lion shirt with my name tag, and my gray apron. All day I've been putting groceries in bags until somebody left without notice and they needed somebody on the cash register. So they chose me.

"Damn" i whispered lowly under my breath because i didn't know fully how to work the cash register.

"Next customer" i say as i went up to the full line, this was going to be a long day.

"How you doing today sir" i said as i was scanning the items.

"Good ma" he lifts his head up and smirks.

"No shit." I laugh

"I ain't know you work here" quentin said

"34.17" i said

He looked at me for a minute then said "ared"

He gave my his credit card and i didn't know what button to press so i stood there for a while. Then quentin reached over and pressed a green button. I felt so dumb i just laughed.

"How you know how to work this thing anyway?"

"For my job ma i gotta know how every job work" he shot back

"And whats that?"

"Stop playing and use that number and you can find out." He said walking away and i just was smiling

"You like that boy?" an old lady said catching me out my gaze.

"Yeah for some reason, i don't know why.
