Stiles leaned against a wall, as he watched Peter pace, "I've never seen you this nervous ever"; he stated cautiously tracing his movements with one eye on him and one on his the area around them they were standing in Beacon Heights, in and around their area, just behind Peter where he was pacing like a trapped cat, in a water tank.

Peter stopped in front of him, "I kinda failed to mention that we were a thing", he said looking nauseous.

"A thing?" Stiles asked over enunciating.

"Yup", he nodded nauseous, "We dated, briefly, before she ascended as a high priestess, she was a simple witch when we met, she worked for the covenant, but she hadn't been turned into priestess then. After, After Paige died, she ascended into Priestess-hood, and I lost my friend. Priestess' are pretty much like going out with a nun", he stated.

Stiles cringed at the mere idea.

"Exactly", Peter nodded, "There is no rule that a priestess can't date. Some priestess' have married, they have children. They fall in love with warlocks, half-demons, Halflings of any kind, and normal humans too, they procreate, etc. But they divine on a higher power so, the relationship is kind of like dating a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Everything you do is seen through a fine lens and it makes people uncomfortable, in more ways than one", he explained easily.

"Kind of like expecting to deal with psycho-babble bullshit?" he asked quietly.

"That or enduring a relationship like Ross and Rachel from FRIENDS", he paused, "The back and forth of trying to outsmart each and failing spectacularly", he explained shortly.

"Sounds lovely", Stiles drawled, "I honestly don't know what you're complaining about", he said dryly.

Peter shot him an amused smirk, and shook his head.

"Well anyway", Stiles shrugged, "It's all in the past, and I'm not saying that was a different you, who met her and dated her and walked around with her no doubt you're the same guy in certain respects. But I know the Peter after the fire, and I like him more, maybe when we have time, I'd like to get the know the 'you' before the fire. I'm a bit envious, but were you happy with her?" he asked quietly.

Peter nodded, "I was", he paused, and "I don't think I'd ever wanted things serious between us, I had responsibilities and she was just someone I could be with and share in with those future risks with, because she had her own responsibilities to deal with", he answered simply.
