This is actually my school homework about writing a recount. It's like writing based on three pictures and then I have to create an ending for it. ( The question is at the media section)

I hope you'll love it.

Last Thursday was supposed to be a sunny day like what the reporter stated on the news. Turns out the rain and storm clouds had a different plan in mind when they came rolling into the village where Emma lived. Observant mothers started to collect the clothes which were hanging outside to dry and called their children to return to their house. Within a few minutes, the streets were all empty. Only a few dried leaves could be spotted being blown away by the strong wind.

Distant thunder was becoming nearer and nearer. Lightning struck mercilessly on trees, leaving them smoked. Finally, the rain which the villagers were expecting arrived. But what they did not expect was for the rain to be so heavy. Within a blink of an eye, the rain was overflowing the drains and rivers nearby. It was clear to Emma that this was a flash flood so she and her sister, Amber, who was the only living family member of Emma, started to pack their things in case the water seeped in through the slit under the door which they had blocked it with bags of sand. Looking out of the window, Emma could see the villagers were busy packing their stuff at the housing area. The flood was not that bad so they waited for the water level to decrease.

The next morning, the water had fully retreated. All the victims of the flood had lost a lot of their belongings. The iron gates were damaged and rusted. The flood water left dirt and mud everywhere it touched. Emma and Amber went out of their house to check on their neighbours. They were alright but were sad that most of their furniture were damaged and ruined. After that, the two sisters went back to their house to clean up all the mess. They were about to start buy were interrupted by some noises outside. It sounded like footsteps and different voices speaking to each other.

A few seconds later, Emma heard her name being called from the outside. She went out and saw her classmates and friends. Apparently, her friends heard about the flood from the news and decided to come and help her clean up her house. Emma felt so touched by her friends' kindness. She thanked them and welcome them indoors. Emma then introduced her younger sister who was currently holding her teddy bear in her arms and standing in the middle of the dirt and mud to her friends. Her friends agreed that her sister is very cute with her shoulder length dark locks and big eyes.

After talking for a while, the group of teens started to work while the child tried to help them whenever she could. The group of friends - Erique, Red, Lily and Alex tried to cheer Emma up by joking and singing silly songs while cleaning the mess in the living room. Little do they knew was that Emma was already happy as she smiled from ear to ear. She appreciated her friends' hard work as they gave their best efforts to clean and beautify the place.

After they finished cleaning up, Emma claimed that she wanted to return something to her neighbour. She suggested that they packed their things first while they waited for her to come back. After packing their things and carrying their bags, Red suggested that they should said their goodbyes to Amber who had been upstairs since they've finished cleaning the living room and proceeded to clean the kitchen first. The group agreed and went upstairs.

When they arrived upstairs, they were greeted by a horrifying sight. Amber stood there with her back facing the group. She turned around when she heard their footsteps. Blood was pouring out from a cut on her throat as she struggled to breathe. The teddy bear that had never left her side dropped to the floor, soaked in her blood. Her eyes were wide in fear as she tried but failed to stop the bleeding. Lily let out a high pitch scream as Amber's body hit the floor which already had a pool of blood formed.

The terrified teens ran downstairs as quickly as possible. They shouted for help when they arrived at the living room. When they could not find Emma in the house, they ran out and shouted for help. Only to realize they were standing in the middle of a wreckage. All the houses were ruined including the house that was supposed to be Emma's. They felt a chill crawling up their spine as they quickly left the place.

As they reached a junction, they ran into their friend - Annette, who was Emma's classmate. Erique asked her whether she had seen Emma or not. He even described how Emma looked like and the fact that she lived at the village near here. Annette looked confuse as she claimed that she never knew anyone named Emma and said that the village had been empty since world war two. She then waved them goodbye and continued on her way, leaving the group of confused teens behind.

Alright I know this is not scary at all ;-;
Besides, I had to use all the words given in the question which kinda ruin the story.
Plus I can't pull it that far as I want to get a grade A in my assignment :>
And the teacher might kill me if I went too far XD.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading it and please tell me what you think about it and where I can improve!
Thanks!
