As you walk into your next classroom you begin to feel at ease. It is your traditional music room, but a lot more fancy; with mahogany steps leading down to a white marble floor.

There's a red grand piano with a black piano bench. There's examples of vocal warmups hanging around the back wall.

Your professer is mid introduction when you enter, and you try not to trip as you walk down to him.

He's also insanely handsome. Just where the hell am I? What is this? Twilit?

His hair is blonde and he had no piercings. But he's wearing a cashmere pink sweater and long grey slacks. His shoes are white and low cut, kinda like Roms. His lips are full and a light shade of pink. Why am I starting at his lips?

You look away only to hear him call you out.

"I know I'm handsome, you can stop starting now." You blush and hand him your note.

He gives the you a soft smile, lips curving up kindly. "Welcome to vocal quality, I am your vocal instructor Dr.Kim Seokjin. From the look of this note you've already met my husband Dr.Kim Namjoon. He doesn't hand these out for charity, you must be a good student?"

"You could say that."

Pffffft, insanely attractive power couple working at the same school??? What are the chances?

"Very well then, you're excused, have a seat."

You spot Jenny and sit in the empty music chair beside her. Music rooms don't have desk.

He then continues. "The voice, in my opinion is the hardest instrument to play. The greatest singers have trained long and hard to truly live up to their voices potential. Even a natural singer could have terrible technique and harm their voice and in some cases sound unbearable. I am here to help you avoid that. I am also here to make you a stronger performer; to help you sing with confidence, to help you remember what good singing sounds like so that you are not afraid to showcase your instrument."

You're stunned by his speech. And you actually have hope that someone as tone dead and deaf as you could actually leave this class sounding decent by the end of the year.

"Now," he says lets start with singing posture, everyone please stand." The class rises out of their seats. "Feet apart but not so far that their square with your shoulders. Heads high and shoulders back. Try not to suck in your stomach as you sing. When you inhale your diaphragm or more noticeably your stomach should expand. When you exhale your diaphragm should deflate."

You feel a little pretentious in your current state but you go along with the professor's instruction.

He sits himself down at the piano. "When I play these chords you will inhale and let your voice exhale. Keep your notes legato, that means smooth and connect. This might not be so easy for those of you who are inexperienced but that's okay. After me," he plays the first chords. *inhales* "Za-A-a-a-a-a."
He plays the next chords and you join in.

As they get higher your voice crakes and you find it hard to sing as strongly. Eventually you die out of notes and breath. Just when you think it's over, he instructs you to descend.
He plays the chords starting from the top. *inhales* "Za-ah-ah-ah-ah."

He begins another vocal warmup. "After me, Meh-Me-Ma-Moh-Moo-o-o-o-o."

I feel really silly right now.

After that vocal warm ups are over.

"Now it's time to get a good grip on your range. I will call each of you up individually and assign you as a bass, tenor, alto, or soprano. Please talk quietly among yourselves while this is done."

He calls up a random boy, you remember his name is B.O. or something like that. He sits beside Dr.Kim. When they begin you're taken aback by his voice, it's beautiful.

Then Jenny taps you on the shoulder.

"Hey, sorry I rushed out of phycology so fast. It's just you weren't ready to go yet and I have to make a good impression on my professor. I know it sounds like a bullshit excuse since I befriended you but-"

"It's okay, I totally understand," you sat patting her shoulder. "What are friends for if not understanding?" You give her a genuine smile.
She smiles back in relief.

"Oh right so, something was wrong when you came into class earlier and you told me I wouldn't believe you if you told me?"

You sigh, recalling the unexpected encounter with your art professor. "Yea It's not that big of a deal, please don't worry about it." You try to reassure her with a calm look. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. He was just trying to be nice right?

You try to forget about it and instead discuss how her day has been so far, and it works. One thing you've noticed about Jenny is that she loves to talk. So much so that she has to be interrupted by Dr.Kim in order to get you up to the piano. Oh great.

You get up and nervously make your way to the piano. He gives you a smile as you sit down beside him. "Don't be afraid," he says. "Just do the best you can." You begin a little be low middle C but your voice begins cracking on your second octave as you try to make it to c again. "That's enough, looks like you're an alto." You let out a sigh of relief as you return to your seat.

After a bass, another alto, and a tenor it's Jenny's turn. She's simply amazing, she can go so high you think you might go deaf.  The sound of her voice is so sweet, like a Kisney princess or something. "Ah, our second soprano and a primadonna might I add," he says raising his eyebrows at her. She flushes red. I guess she was showing off a bit? She comes and sits back down beside you.

The rest of the class period all you can hear is Jenny's chatter in one ear and test subjects in the other. You like her, you really do, but she talks too much.

************

When the bell rings you say goodbye to Jenny and actually manage to get to your next class before anyone else arrives. Construction huh?

You walk into a traditional classroom, the front is on you left with a white board. But when you look to the right, the back of the classroom you see glass windows giving you a clear picture of where you'll be constructing things.

There's all types of odd machines that you're sure you've seen used on people in horror movies. You sit your belongings in a chair and walk into the massive warehouse.

As you walk in you an hear a loud noise and notice sparks flying near the back of the massive space. You walk towards it and stumble upon a muscular form, some kind of drill in hand. He's wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and some heavy duty boots. He has a mask on so you can't see his face but you can see his jet black hair. He's wearing thick gloves as well. You can see a tattoo that travels along his bicep and goes up underneath his shirt sleeve. You can also see another tattoo that starts at the base of his neck and appears to travel down his spine. He's too concentrated on slicing through metal to notice you so you take the time to admire him some more.

Is it hot in here or is it just me?
