Meet The Family.

Karas pov :
It's been a few days now since I asked Lena to be my girl friend and I have seen her everyday since then. I love being around her. I'm trying to find the right time to tell her about my secret but that hasn't come up yet. It doesn't feel like I've found one.
Tonight my adoptive mum, Alex and Maggie are coming over. I'm going going to introduce Lena to them properly I'm really nervous Eliza knows nothing yet.
Fast forward to the evening....
Everyone but Lena is here I get a little nervous until I hear a knock at the door.
I exchange a nervous glance at Alex then back at the door and get up to answer it.
Lenas pov:
I knock on the door to Karas apartment and I'm nervous because I know that her family are inside. Im hoping that there is nothing to worry about.
Karas pov :
I hug Lena and as I do that I whisper that it will be okay in her ear. I can tell she's nervous. To tell the truth I am too.
Mum this is Lena Luthor. My girlfriend.She smiles back at me.
Eliza :
It's nice to meet you lena. I did wonder why Kara was so cheerful lately. It's lovely to meet the person behind the reason why.
Lenas pov:
As Kara walks off to talk to her sister and sister in law she gives me a reassuring smile. I'm about to talk to her mother.
Narrative:
Lena and Eliza talk for longer than both of them each expected they have a lot in common. They both love Kara not that, that word has been used yet. They spend the next twenty minutes discussing life in general and the relationship between Kara and Lena.
Alexs pov :
As I glance around the room I see happy faces. My sister trying not to stare at the two women she cares about having a conversation that is most probably about her.
I turn to my wife next to me and give her a kiss. We are so lucky that we are all so happy right now.
Lenas pov:
Kara Comes over and takes my hand we all go to sit with Alex and Maggie and engage in general conversation. As the evening goes on I can tell Kara is more content she has her hand in mine and her head resting on my shoulder. She's tired.
Kara I'm going to head off it's getting late and I have to work early tomorrow and you seem to be getting a bit tired love.
Alex offers to see me out. As I give Kara a goodnight kiss as she doses off on the couch.
Alexs pov :
Lena I just want to say thankyou for how happy you have made my sister. I've never seen her like this. Welcome to our family. I only say that because I can already tell that this relationship will last. You two are incredible together.
Lena thanks me and says a few kind words back before she leaves. I see Kara is asleep and suggest to Maggie that we should leave as we were the only ones left to.
THE NEXT DAY
Karas pov :
I wake up with the sun shining in my eyes before they have even opened. I quickly register that I'm not in my own bed and open my eyes. I see a note on the coffee table it reads.
Kara sorry we all left you looked so peaceful we didn't want to wake you. I love Lena! I'm so happy for you both. - Alex x
Just as I read that I get a text message from Lena.
Good morning beautiful. Last night was great. Your family are incredible see you soon xx
It's my day to work at the DEO today so Supergirl is a go. Its going to be a long but rewarding day. I am so happy with my life right now. I just need to tell Lena that I am her. I hope it doesn't break our trust.
