Kara knocks on Alex and Maggies apartment door. It feels like she was waiting forever when the door finally opened. She was nervous. Kara says hello as she greets her sister and sister in law in a group hug. Karas pov : 'so there is something I need to talk with you guys about. The evening goes on smoothly as both Alex and Maggie tell Kara that they will love and support her no matter what. That they are happy that she has finally moved on after such a rough year because of everything that happened with having to send mon el away. Kara is back in the comfort of her own home now and decides to call Lena to tell her the news. Kara :hi I know we've never spoken on the phone but I thought you should know that I came out to Alex and her wife today. They accept me of course but I don't have to hide anymore. Lena: that's so wonderful to here. I'm proud of you. I know how hard that can be. I wish I knew what acceptance felt like. When I told my mother I was a lesbian she told me that I didn't know what I was. Kara: oh I'm so sorry to here that. Well you have me. The two spoke for hours and at the same time a few blocks away Alex and Maggie were talking about Kara and how proud she is. While a bit weary of her relationship if it will even become one with Lena. They are happy that she is finally happy. The next morning. Karas pov: I woke up with a message from Alex that made me tear up a little. It read. Good morning baby sis your probably not even awake yet I mean it is 5am but I just want to say that I'm so incredibly proud of you. Coming out is such a hard thing to do and especially after discovering things about yourself much later in life. I know that this year has been extremely tough for you. Losing the love of your life to save the city you live in. But I really hope that things go well for you and lena and that it is possible for you to have that great love again. This will be a challenge, belive me. But you got this. I love you. Lenas pov: I'm sat at my desk and I honestly really miss kara it's been a while since we saw each other in person and I'm really itching to spend some time with her. I feel like this could really be something. Ive decided I'm going to ask her out on a date and I'm going to do it in the sweetest way possible.I'm going to leave flowers and a note outside her door asking her to dinner tomorrow night. With a box that has a dress inside. Already picked out.
