A little girl sad and all alone
Sitting quiet in the corner
Wants some friends
but don't understand how
How to talk
How to share
How to sympathize
But one thing this little girl can do
Is open up her mind
In her world she can see a world of colors and friends
Imaginary friends adults call them the girl smiles and laughs
Little do they know she whispers to her secret friends
Time goes by the little girl grows and grows in many ways
No more talking about her secret friends all threw the days
But at home and night or when alone the little girl does smile
She stops and breaths
And whispers soft
My friends come play with me
This not so little girl now sits upon her bed
Knowing her secret friends arnt all within her head
Her secret friends are spirits
Some children can always see
As aging is complseray
But growing up is not
Some adults are just children acting all grown up
