Ashley
"Just keep on walking and don't look back." Mason and his little blondie followed us. YES LITERALLY FOLLOWED US here.
Dean leaned into my ear and whispered, "Trust me I don't want to." I tried to sneak a peak back but I couldn't. I spotted a huge McDonald's sign and looked back at Dean. He caught what I was trying to say and we sprinted for it. We may have been hit by a couple of cars, but Mason was nowhere to be found.
I was out of breathe but I found enough air to laugh.
"I'll have two large fries, 2 milkshakes, and 20 chicken nuggets. You?" Dean laughed at me and ordered a cheeseburger. Boring.
After a belly full of McDonalds we finally decided to go to that party.
"How did you find this party?!" I asked Dean. It was outside and car lights lit up the whole place. Music was blasting and the bass shook the ground. I took a sip of my beer and looked at Dean.
"It's actually my cousin's party, who should have a girl pinned to the wall right about now."
Gross, but I shook my head anyways. I felt something staring at me, but I ignored it and wrapped my hand around Dean's. I felt his whole body tense but his face remained calmed.
"Let's get drunk and party!"
"You get drunk! I need to drive."
I pointed to his red cup,"Then what's that?"
I tipped it so I could see, "Apple juice." I stole a sip and it was apple juice. Weird choice but I respected that.
We danced for I don't know how long, made at least 200 new friends on instagram, and I'm drunk as hell.
"Can we go?" I mumbled into Dean's shirt. He smelled sooo good.
The next thing I knew I was scooped up and that's when I let my eyes shut.
***
"AAARRGH!" I stretched out my legs and rub my head.
"Morning sleepy head." Dean. Have I never seen him shirtless?
I chugged down the coffee he passed to me and hugged my warm stomach. My belly grumbled and Dean laughed while passing me a brown bag.
"Rainbow bagel?" I raised my eyebrow. I took a bite. "It's literally a bagel."
He smiled and laid down next to me.
"When are you going back home?" I asked him. Honestly I was too scared to go home with Mason.
"I don't maybe in like two weeks?" he shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't you have a family to go back home for Christmas? It's only in 6 days."
"Have you ever heard me talk about my family before Ash?"
"No but-"
"Exactly, I hate them."
"Sorry. Well I don't have one soo."
He sat up and looked at me with pity eyes. I covered them with my hands.
"Don't look at me like that Mr.Dean. I'm used to it." I peeled them off his eyes and placed one of his hands on my cheek.
"Dear Ashley, will you please spend Christmas and New Years with me?"
"Dear Dean, yes I will spend Christmas and New Years with you."
Then he kissed me.
But way different than he ever did.
Something that I actually felt. Passion. Happiness.
He pulled back, "Sorry too soon?"
I was breathless. I shook my head no and smiled.
"Good." He threw my suitcase on my bed, "Come on, we have some Christmas shopping to do."
"Wait! How did you get my stuff?"
"Magic."
This boy might be the death of me.
"WhAt?!" Melony bursted my ear drum. I told her everything that happened.
"Pink or white tube top?"
"Answer my question first."
"I guess I'll go with the white."
"PLEASE ASHLEY!"
"What?! I told you everything."
"I guess you did... Anyways what are you gonna get him?"
"I don't know. A necklace?"
"Are you serious?"
"Obviously not. Can't you just ask your boyfriend what he likes?" I let out an exhausted sigh.
"No! This is all on you. BByyyee." And boom she hung up. Bye?
I don't know what I should get him... maybe I'll just call Sam myself.
"Ash! Are you ready to go?!"
"Yeah one second!"
I slipped on my checkered skirt and Vans and headed out.
"Sorry what's the plan again?" asked lowering down the music.
"We are gonna spilt up and buy what we need to buy, and then meet at the fountain at 1 o'clock for lunch."
"1?! That only gives me 3 hours!"
He pulls over and parks, "Good luck."
I wanted to kiss him good luck but maybe another time.
After 2 hours of going in and out of stores, I'm still empty handed. I sit down in a cafe and sip on my coffee while my brain tries to think of something.
Clothes? No, I don't even know what size he is...
Money? Not sentimental enough...
I had 30 minutes left and my heart was racing. Right once I stepping out of the cafe and bumped right into a stranger.
"Watch where you are going." Maybe not a stranger.
"Sorry.Mason." I tried to step aside but he stepped right infant of me.
His voice was bitter, "I hate you Ashley, more than anyone in the world."
I backed away a little bit, his voice was mean and cold.
"Well, I hate you too. You ditched me."
"I ditched you?!" he roared earning a couple of stares.
I whispered and looked down, "Please calm down."
"No." He stepped closer to me and grabbed my chin.
"Don't touch me." I tried to wiggle out of his hold but his grip tightened.
"You won't be able to resist me Ashley." he slithered into my ear and finally let me go. I literally ran away looking for Dean.
Literally.
Ran.
