Masquerade [Completed]

Masquerade

The time had come. A plan was mad and a plan was about to be set in motion. For a boy to fall in love with a girl who never thought he'd notice. 

"Pidge, you got to be back by 10:00. Dad isn't in space anymore. He and mom are coming back from their date by 10:00." Matt told Pidge through her shut door.

"How will I know it's 10?" Pidge asked. 

"Give me your phone." Matt asked. Pidge slide her phone under the door. Matt picked it up and set a time for 10 till. Pidge came out of her room in an emerald like dress with a green lion mask in her hand. She had her hair pulled back the best she could and she wore emerald heels giving her about an inch and a half. Matt smiled at her.

"I have the prettiest sister in the whole world." Matt said handing her the phone. She tied it to the bottom of her ankle. She looked at the clock as it said 7:56. She remembered she told Keith she'd meet him outside the school at 8:00. 

"I got to go. I'll see you later." Pidge said as she ran out the house took her heels off and ran to the school barefoot. 

As Pidge approach the school she slipped her shoes on and met up with Keith. They walked inside to see Romelle waving them down. Keith wore a black tux and a red tie. Romelle wore a light pink long dress with a pear bracelet. Hunk wore a white tux with a yellow tie. 

"You made it." Romelle said. 

"Did Pidge tell you the plan?" Hunk asked Keith.

"Yeah , we just have to wait for Lane and Allura." Keith said. Soon Lance and Allura arrived. Hunk asked Lance for refreshments so Allura could explain.

"The masquerade dance is set for 9. At that time you grab a partner and then you'll switch with the person to your left." Allura said.

"So me and Pidge will be on your right." Keith said.

"Not exactly. The girls stay in place we're the ones who switch." Hunk said.

"You'll start off back to back and turn around to meet your dance partner. Only before when Lance is turned around I'll switch places with Pidge so that she dances with Lance." Allura explained.

"What if someone switches with Lance?" Keith asked.

"Me and you will dance to the right of them while Hunk and Romelle dance on their left. You and Hunk will move the guys in the other direction." Allura said.

"Uh how are we going to do that?" Hunk asked.

"Keith can push them Hunk and he can move them aside." Romelle said. 

"Will that work?" Hunk asked.

"It's complicated but it might have a chance." Keith said.

"Hey guys, what are we talking about?" Lance asked as he came up behind Allura.

No one new what to say so Pidge spoke.( They don't put on their mask till the Masquerade dance)

"We were just talking about Axca's crush on Keith." Pidge said and Keith nodded while drinking punch.

"WHAT!" Lance and Allura said at once. 

"You weren't there," Romelle remembered "Axca asked Keith to the dance but Keith said no." Romelle said.

"Why'd you say no?" Allura asked curiously.

"I wasn't going to come." Keith said talking a sip of punch.

"But your here?" Lance pointed out.

"I'll go with a friend." Keith said trying not to be sentimental.
