"MILA what do you mean we're sitting with sonny today?!" eli screamed at me as noah eli and i got off the subway.
"because he invited us," i mumbled.
"correction; he invited you and friends," eli said making noah snort.
"okay well he was being nice and a nice sonny is a good opportunity," i said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"mila no matter how much you want to believe it, sitting with sonny is a opportunity wasted. we all know he just wants to get in your pants!" el shouted making me stop dead in my tracks.
"that's all you think of me eli! really? i thought you believed i meant more than what you're saying! this is so fucked up! you know what eli, fuck you!" i said walking away. i knew he was going the same direction considering that we had school, but he just stood there.
"mila! mila stop!" he yelled but i just kept walking.
i was furious!
"you're not going to go after her?" i heard noah say and i could imagine eli shaking his head.
i walked into school on time and over to my locker.
i whipped it open, but someone slammed it back shut.
it was so loud that i jumped.
"holy shit," i started but the face caught my attention.
sonny westchester.
"hey mila right?" he asked and i rose an eyebrow.
"yeah, and you are?" he took a step back and picked up his hands in a surrender.
"woah woah woah! calm down mi, i just wanted to ask you to eat lunch with me. it's sonny by the way," he said smiling revealing a dimple on his left cheek.
"i would love to join you sonny," i replied with a smile.
"great, see you at lunch?" he asked and i nodded.
"see you mi," he said kissing my cheek and walking away.

i watched sonny walk away from mila with a smirk.
"mister steal yo girl," he whispered walking away.
for some reason i was really jealous, but why.
maybe it's because my best friend is dating or talking to someone.
and she'll forget about me.
we'll stick to that.
after all mila is my best friend and seeing mila and sonny together made my stomach twist.
"are you okay?" eli asked grabbing my shoulder.
"i'm fine eli," i mumbled.
"are you sure, because the way you were looking at mila says something else," eli said raising an eyebrow.
"yeah, just mila was hanging out with sonny and i don't know i guess it's just weird for her. she never hung out with sonny before."
eli looked over at me and shook his head.
"well she's going to sit with him. mila wouldn't want to give up an opportunity like that," eli said.
i stopped realizing that we had passed my first period, and hit eli's arm.
"hey I gotta go to homeroom, see you later eli," i said walking in and taking my seat in the back where mila and i sat.
mila walked in right before the bell rang sitting down next to me.
"hey," she breathed.
she looked pretty as usual, wearing a black top with striped pants but somehow she made it look so much more.

"hey mila," i whispered. mila whipped her head around and smiled.
"yeah?" she asked.
"uh you, uh," my palms started to sweat. i was too nervous.
"noah come on it's just me," mila said laughing.
"you look really pretty today," i spit out blushing.
"thanks noah," she said smiling to herself and blushing.
"if you really want to sit with sonny, i'll come with you," i said to mila and she smiled.
"really? you're the best noah, thank you so much," mila said smiling wider than ever at me.
god i could get used to her.
KENZIE ok ok i know i haven't updated for a long time! but i just started high school and i'm taking all ap and honors classes. plus i'm playing volleyball for jv and all my time has gone to school and volleyball. i'm so sorry for not updating just know i've been busy but i'm trying. thank you guys!
