afterlife ; part iv of man in the mirror

"beyond all ideas of right and wrong, there is a field. i will be meeting you there." -the voidz

or in which harley quinn grows accustomed to her new life in sydney, but things are not always what they seem to be.

-

so as i mentioned at the end of mortalis, i have decided to split this into one final part. i know i said this after phantasm, but i promise this time its true.

my love for 5sos has been rekindled and i am living a renaissance.

i have so many ideas for this final part, and depending on how long i can keep this going, i might have to split this into one more book. but that last one would not be a book per say, but rather a place for me to share the three alternate endings i have in mind for this story.

i honestly could not decide which one i liked best, so i will leave it up to you all to decide which one you would like to stick with.

i have been writing this series for about five years now!

where has the time gone?

i feel a bit sad letting go of this story because i started writing it when i was really young. i have grown so attached to all my characters. but this is not the end. i still have the prequel to finish "ides of march". even though we all know what happened to ashton, i wanted to show what his life was like when he was alive in the 60s.

then there's the spin off "the hunter" about michael. another little spin off that i wanted to write in order to show what michael's life was like.

i would like to thank you all for the support you have given me and this story. i may have lost a few of you along the way, especially during that long two year period in which i left the fandom.

currently, i do stan exo more than 5sos. but i really do love 5sos and their music.

i really want to be able to finish this story and provide closure to the people who still read and wait for this story.

so please stay tuned and continue to support this book as well.

also, a quick note.

the quote for the story has nothing to do with the book. i just am really obsessed with the song "human sadness" by the voidz. i used my favorite quote from the song as the blurb. but honestly, i might find a way to incorporate the quote into the story somehow. so look out for that.

i highly recommend that you all listen to the song. its about a boy who was never loved by his father and all the pain and sadness it caused him.
