Castiel
School went by quick, Castiel didn't talk to anyone nor did anyone wanted to talk to him.
He walked to the parking lot and waited for his sister to pick him up - she messaged him she'd be a bit late. It was a pretty cold day in september, compared to last week, so he tightened his trenchcoat around him and started to shake slightly.
"Hey, i think we got off on the wrong foot", a voice said from behind him. Cas turned around to see the face of the boy from lunchbreak.
"I'm Dean", the boy said reaching his hand out - Castiel didn't shake it.
"Castiel", he introduced himself.
"So Castiel, look. Its going to be a tough time at first here in school for you. This school is full of jackasses to be honest. I'll do everything i can to get those people distracted from you."
"Why are you doing that?", Castiel asked looking up into Deans eyes.
"You seem to be a nice guy", Dean said, staring into that bright blue eyes. And he didn't think he'd ever seen such a rare kind of blue before.
Their staring contest got interrupted by a car pulling over.
"I gotta go", Castiel said goodbye and got into his sisters car. Once he got in, Anna started to asking questions. Cas told her about everything that happened, excluding the cafeteria incident.

When they got home, Anna immediately called the pizza service and ordered a pineapple pizza for herself (A/N who the hell eats pineapple pizza tbh) and a cheese pizza for her brother. Castiel went into his room to catch up on all the school stuff he'd been missing., mostly biology since he really sucked on that. He grabbed his laptop, swung on his bed and opened Facebook. A dozen of invitations to play farmville with his aunt, someone liked his most recent photo and one friend request.
Dean W. wants to be friends with you
*accept*
Since Dean seemed to be the only one at school who's been at least a bit nice to him, he accepted his friend request without any thoughts. He wouldn't do that often, since Cas got bullied a lot in the other schools and people would use his Facebook pictures to make photo montages of his face on all kinds of stuff. They used to treat him like shit, spread rumors about Cas being gay, being sick and some other stuff he didn't want to think about.
After a while Anna called him to get to the kitchen. The pizzas had arrived, Anna had put on a movie and now they sat on the couch, watching and eating.
"Are you really sure, everything went alright today? Nothing happened?" she asked after finishing her third slice of pizza. "Yeah, normal schoolday. Why are you asking?" he replied. "Well there's salad sauce all over your coat and you look like you've cried today" she paused the movie.
"I tripped in the cafeteria while carrying my lunch, no big deal. And you know my allergies, eyes swollen up and stuff. Don't worry about it Anna" Cas lied.
Obviously not okay with his answer, she still let go of the conversation and pressed play again on the tv remote.
***one week later***
Cas made his way to school on his own today, since his sister got an interview this morning and couldn't drive him to school. As he arrived at the bus stop (which was horrible for Cas to find in the first place, since his neighborhood is really confusing), there were some other guys and a red haired girl. With his earphones in, he couldn't hear what they were talking about, but the boys surely looked in Cas' direction a couple of times - which made Cas uncomfortable.
As the bus arrived, he searched for an empty seat - and found one. Right beside the red haired girl, which he was very happy about since she looked nice. "Can i sit here?", he asked.
"Of course! You're Castiel right?", she was obviously a bit hyperactive but very kind.
He sat down and nodded.
"It's nice meeting you finally. I believe we're having a class together today as well. Oh i'm so silly - my name is Charlie by the way", she said as she immediately grabbed Castiels hand to shake it. A bit confused but happy that she was talking to him, he said "nice meeting you too". The bus drive took went by quick and soon they'd arrived at the school. Leading the way, Cas and Charlie got out of the bus and made their way to the entrance. People got quiet as they walked by, some even started to giggle. "What's up with that?" Charlie asked confused about people giggling at them. "I'm the new guy, that's been an issue in every school that i went to, i don't really know if it's about me or new people in general", he explained calmly, not even really noticing the others.
As they arrived the entrance - still talking - Charlie suddenly stopped.
"Um, Castiel."
"What?" he said, turning his head in her direction. She pointed at the door in front of them.
That's when he saw it.
A giant poster with Castiels Face on a priest, with the headline: "praise the dicks!" and a dick scribbled on his forehead.
He didn't understand. Where could anyone in this entire school get a picture of him? He wasn't really much into social media, nor did he accept strangers on these platforms.
Besides Dean, a week ago.
But he wouldn't do such thing, would he? He seemed to be pretty nice at first.
Charlie took his hand to get him out of his trance and inside the building. They sat on a bench on the side of the hallway, silent.
After a while she said "is there anything i can do? I mean, look Cas - stuff like that does happen sometimes..especially to new kids. I was such a new kid too, last year. And i got bullied at first as well. But I'd just ignore it. Soon they'd be tired and bored of me not reacting to their crap - and they stopped." Cas listened, but didn't know how to answer.
"C'mon, our first class is arts, it's not that important..we skip it and get some coffee. Agree?", Charlie said - already standing up and smiling down at Cas.
"Yeah, sounds better than staying here", he agreed and they made their way to the nearest starbucks.
