I wake up still in Will's apartment and get ready for school

"Morning bob" I smile as he gets ready to open
"How are you this morning?" He asks giving me a hug
"I'm okay" I tell him "how are you?" I ask grabbing a doughnut
"Better everyday" he winks
"See ya bob" i smile as I walk out
I walk out the door and I notice the motorcycle is gone
"Hey bob where did the bike go?" I call back into the shop
"Don't know it was gone this morning" he calls back
"That's weird" I sigh but I don't get hung on it I just keep walking to school
"How are we?" Zac smiles as I walk in
"I'm okay" I say
It's been my come back to that question for over a month now. The school seems to have forgotten about will but everyday it hurts more for me and I can't forget him
"We are nearly out of this hell hole" Bella sighs linking arms with me and kissing Zac
"You guys are gross" I tell them but they totally ignore me
I sit alone in science but it feels normal now, like I never really had anyone to sit next to.
"Is this seat taken?" Someone says
I look up and see a cute blonde boy with gorgeous blue eyes
"Um yes" I say "I mean no" I shake my head
"Thanks" he says sitting down next to me where will use to
"Im sam" he smiles shaking my hand
"I'm Amelia, I have never seen you around here before or well in this class" I say
"I went on a holiday end of last year I traveled the world with my family came back just for tests" he tells me
"Well I came at the start of the year that's why I don't know you" I say
"Exactly" He Chuckles
We talk most of the lesson we have so much in common we are in all the same classes even know some of the same people from some of the science competitions. For the first time since Will left I actually am genuinely smiling.
"I can't believe I am only coming now right at the end we will barely get to hang out" he says as we walk to math
"We still got time" I smile as we walk in
I slide in next to Bella and she is just starring at me
"What?" I ask
"I hate you" she sighs
"What did I do now" I laugh
"You get all the hot guys no offence to Zac but seriously sam carmine he is like hottie of the year and so smart literally every girls perfect man" she tells me
"I guess so" I say looking over at him
"Don't let stupid will ruin him" she sighs looking at sam
"Zac" I say
"Sorry" she shake her head and I laugh
Sam eats lunch with us and it turns out him and Zac are friends from way back and for the first time in ages our family feels whole.

"I'll drop you home" sam says as I start walking
"Oh no I like the walk" I say
"Okay stay safe this place is not all ice cream truck and little kids" he says getting into his car and driving away
I start walking when I feel like I am being followed. I turn but I don't see anything just an empty street.
"Hey how was school?" Bob asks as I walk into the cafe
"It was for once pretty good" I smile
"Did you just smile!" He gasps as I sit at the counter "Did Rosa get hit?" He asks
"I wish" I laugh "Nah I meet a super nice guy it was kinda like Will was back" I say
"Does this guy have a name?" He questions making me a milkshake
"Sam carmine" I tell him
"Well I will have to meet him before I approve" he says
"I'll keep it in mind" I laugh as I get my school work out and study
I look around and see a couple in me and Will's booth and I sigh
I put up a front said i was just angry at Will. But I was destroyed by him leaving. I cried myself to sleep the nights I could actually sleep and if I did sleep I woke up a billion times from nightmares. The only person who saw through it was bob
"I know your not okay Mia" he says and I turn back to him with tears in my eyes
"Everyday is worse bob, I am so mad at him he broke my trust and did the one thing that could hurt me most and I wouldn't even know if he is alive or not!" I cry
"I know Mia, he is like the son I never had I am worried sick about him but I am so mad he left me but he left you after hearing over and over again that he wouldn't, which is what I don't get" he tells me "but you can't stop your life because of him, you need to keep living" he says
"I know I just am hurting so bad" I tell him
"I know" he says hugging me
I help bob clean up and serve the final customers and close for the night, even got an ice cream form the ice cream truck finally
"Be proud of yourself" he says ad I go to walk upstairs "You an amazing women and you do whatever you want when you leave here" he says and I smile
"Thank you" I say
There is a would bang and I watch the expression on bob face change to pain and he falls to the ground.
The world moves in slow motion as I run to his side.
He was shit right in the back and I hold his head up as tears fall
"Your gonna be okay" I tell him as I start shaking
"Look at you" he says putting his hand on my cheek "your so scared and so young, stop being paralysed. Stop swallowing your words. Stop Caring what other people say, say whatever the hell you want. Play your music loud and dance, drive at midnight and admire the stars and forget about school the next day Mia. School doesn't control what happens with the rest of your life" he mumbles "live like it's Friday, you need to realise you can live however you want" he tells me and I sniff back the tears as my hands shake in pain
Another shot and I yelp in pain to my side and I fall on the ground right next to bob
"Thank you for being the only adult in my life that cared about me" I whisper and it all goes black
