"How are you?" He asks getting up and sitting down next to me on the bed
"I'm okay" I say "scared out of my mind, but okay"
"I am so so so sorry Mia, I wish I hadn't got you involved" He blabs on
"Hey" I stop him and he looks at me sadly "there isn't anyone I would rather go through this with" I tell him and he smiles softly "when I am with you I feel safe" I admit
"I let you down on a promise" he says "I said I would never let someone hurt you and someone did" he says looking down
"As long as you make sure know one kills me, you can't stop me from getting hurt but you can stop me from getting killed" I say putting my hand on his
We intertwine hands and smile
"I should let you rest" he says letting go and standing up
"Uh yeah probably" I scratch my head
It falls silent in the room and all I want is for him to sleep next to me
"Well goodnight then" he mutters
He goes to walk away but I grab his hand so he can't
I get up in my knees and walk to the edge of the bed where he stands
"What?" He asks
"You don't have to sleep over there" I say
He smiles and brings both of his hands to the sides of my face and leans down and kisses me
I have never kissed anyone before but it felt like our lips where made to kiss each other
He breaks away first and rests his forehead on mine
"You have no clue how long I have wanted to do that" he mutters
I don't say anything I just lean in for more
We end up laying in bed together kissing nothing more and to me it was amazing.
