Bahrain was good, Esteban scored his first point of the season with a 10th place. China was not ideal, but it wasn't catastrophic either, as he finished 11th of the race. I definitely feel more at ease in the paddock than the first Grand Prix. We're now back in Monaco before we fly to Azerbaijan, for the 4th race of the season.

Monaco is a true jewel. We've been here for three days already, Dan and I are staying over at Esteban's. I actually didn't have much work to do. I watched some reports on Esteban, and read articles about him, made sure everything that was said there was true. I also started preparing Azerbaijan's weekend by answering journalists who want to interview Esteban. It's definitely easier to work on this while being around him, that way I can directly expose him the different propositions he has, which ones are his best options, and we can decide together. It's a team work.

Dan and Esteban have also spent a lot of time training, which left me alone time to visit Monaco. This morning, I decided to go hiking around Monte Carlo with them. Esteban keeps saying I'm not supportive because I let him suffer alone, so here I am, dressed with a sports bra and leggings, waiting for both of them to show up.

"Ready to suffer, Charlie?" Esteban asks me as he goes down the stairs of his duplex.

"I'm only doing this so you can stop teasing me about not doing sports and stop complaining that you're sore."

Esteban snorts. "Don't come running to me asking for a massage tomorrow!" Dan is supposed to go back to England for a few days this afternoon, he'll meet us directly in Azerbaijan. Esteban can't wait for him to leave so he can rest, but Dan prepared a detailed list of exercises and asked me to make sure he does them. That, he doesn't know yet.

"Ready kids?"

Both Esteban and I follow Dan out of the apartment. Other drivers live in the same building, Esteban said, but I haven't seen any of them for now.

The hike goes on for an hour until we reach the top of a rocky hill. I can't feel my legs already, but the view is definitely worth it. In front of us, the Mediterranean sea. All around, Monte Carlo and its gorgeous architecture. I'm falling more and more in love with this town! I take my phone out to take a picture of the view.

"Let's take a selfie, guys!"

Crushed between the both of them, I stretch my arm so we all make it inside the frame. I immediately post it on my Instagram, tagging Dan and Esteban. This picture is damn cute!

"Tired yet, Charlie?"

"Pff, I could go on for hours." I answer Esteban, obviously bluffing.

The way back to the apartment is one hour long too, it's easier as we don't have to climb, but I still ache everywhere. As soon as Esteban opens the door, I throw myself into the couch, exhausted.
