Chapter 2

Matthew POV
My alarm went off right at 6 am. God it felt like I just went to sleep. I hurried up and turned it off before it work up Cecilia. Since the boys didn't take a shower last night I woke them up and told them to get in there while I started breakfast. I made some pancakes, eggs and Jacob favorite, bacon. "MATTY. IM DONE. AND I SMELL BACON." I heard Jacob scream. I rolled my eyes and picked out there clothes for school. I heard Cecilia crying for her dad. I guess that was me. I don't know how to get her to just say Matt or something. She keeps calling me dad. I left the boys to get dressed and I walked back to my room. "Hey baby girl, let's get dressed and go eat.

We were finally done and out the house by 7:25. We walked to the boys school and me and Cecilia waved as the boys went inside. Then I dropped Cecilia off and was on my way to the library. It's the same routine everyday. But something was different today, when I walked in to clock in I saw Oliver at the back of the library with a girl. They were laughing with there computers out and touching all over each other. He also had one of those private school inform on. So did the girl. I tried not to look at him or make him notice I was here. I clocked in and went to stocking books back on there shelves. I tried to stay away from Oliver but a girl close to his table needed help. "How can I assist you today." I asked the women. I tried to keep my voice down but out of the corner of my eye I saw Oliver snap his head up in my direction. Fuck. I helped the lady and once I was done and bout to head back to the front I heard my name being called. I turned back around and Oliver was waving his hand for me to come over. I put a smile on my face and made my way to the little rich boy. "Hey dude! I worked here for like 2 years and never seen you in here, what's up." I said, trying to sound like I wasn't ignored. This is getting ridiculous. I mean the guy is hot and everything but why am I seeing him so much. "I just came to study before school. It was closer." He said in his smooth voice. "That's awesome, I'll let you get back to it." I said turning to leave. "Oh hey wait! Is it okay if I get your number." He said. And I could just be going blind but it looked like he blushed a little. I said sure and put my number in his I PHONE X. Yeah this dude has to be rich. I mean I got a I phone 7 but only because Jazmine didn't want it anymore and I needed a phone Incase something happens to the kids. I started stacking books back and helping people.
A little bit later I saw Oliver walking out the door holding that girls hand. My face fell a little bit it's not like I had time for boys anyways. I pushed Olivier out my head for the rest of the day.

Oliver POV
I got his number! That's right I'm the man. "Why are you blushing." Cassie asked. "I'm not, it's just got." I said as I saved his number into my phone. We studied for a little bit more then we packed up our stuff. On the way out Cassie grabbed my hand to hold. Yes we are dating. My dad was always on my ass about have this perfect girlfriend and well Cassie fit. I feel bad for lying to her but I can't tell her. She has a big mouth and the whole school would find out. "So I was thinking we could go out to eat after school or something fun you know. Or mayb.." Cassie talked but I didn't hear a thing she said. Matthew doesn't look that old I wonder why he's not on his way to school. He sure is a hard worker. Now I'm glad Cassie suggested that library. "What do you say babe?" Shit. "Sure baby. Anything you want." I said kissing her on the check.
We made it to school and we parted ways as I went to m first class of the day. The teacher wasn't there yet so I decided to text Matthew
To Matt
Hey man what's up.
A couple minutes passed but he didn't respond. But he is at work so he probably doesn't get on his phone a lot. The teacher walked in so I put my phone and and zoned out while she taught the class.
35 minuets later the bell ringed and i got up and checked my phone. Still no answer from Matthew. He probably just couldn't have his phone out.
Lunch came around and I got my food out of my locker and went and sat down by some friends. Checked my phone again and still no text from him. I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket and ate lunch.

The school day seem to drag out but finally it was 3:30 and we all got to go home. I decided to walk to clear my head. As I was walking home I passed by the elementary school. As I was walking I felt two little things run into me. I looked down and saw two little blond boys one was crying and the other one was holding his hand. They looked like twins. "Jacob! Jason! Hey boys watch out next time. I'm sorry that they ran into you man." I looked up and saw Matthew and a little baby walking behind him. "No worries." I said smiling big. "Mat-t-y." I heard a little boy cry. Matthew eye went big for a little bit and he quickly made his way over to the little boy. "Jason, why are you crying what happened." Matthew was drying his face and rubbing his back to calm him down. The other little boy spoke for him. "Matty! One of the big boys pushed him down! And I tried to push him back but he was to big and he just laughed at us." Matthew picked up Jason and held him. "Okay stop crying now buddie I'll talk to your teacher tomorrow okay?" Jason nodded and wiped his eyes. "A-and yo-our go-oing to beat u-up that boy. Right matty?" Jason said. Matthew chuckled and shook his head yes. He then turned to me. "Sorry to run out on you like this but I gotta get the kids home. Sorry they ran into you again." And then the four of them turned to leave. And I made my way home.
