Love is such an incredible phenomenon. The love that pours out of one in their every action and every touch. The care that they would give you, hidden in gifts and endless conversations. How many people would you really, truly love in this world? There isn't a limit.
The love of a mother concealed in her warm hugs, bright smile and the hot cup of tea at your bedside every morning. Every expression on your face she can read like a book and she would know exactly what to do. She would tuck you into bed and lay beside till you slip into your peaceful slumber. She would be like a friend and listen to your sadness, ready to fight the world for your happiness.
The love of a father shown through he's harsh scoldings, asking you to improve yourself and learn. You may turn away and ignore, but little do you know of the many nights that he never slept, hoping to make life at least a little easier for you. He thought, maybe if I work now, later on, you wouldn't have to. When he carries you around tirelessly, calling you his princess, that's when his love shows.
The love of a sibling hidden in the silly fights ending with a conversation over hot chocolate. Although they would tease and annoy you, inside their hearts is a hidden special love for you.
Friends, waking up hoping to see your face in school. They might not tell you, but they enjoyed every moment with you, even your pointless fights. Some days drooling over boys and girls, other days crying to each other about one another's problems. They would trust you with everything, give their hearts for you to keep.
On days like this, trudging through the endless white snow, you wonder to yourself; what is love?
