6.) We are lost

A/N: wow thank you so much for 200 reads. It may not seem like much but it's a lot to me and it's what makes me want to continue on and keep writing this story, I really do appreciate it. Y/N POV:
I woke up to the sound of voices. Sounding like Finn and Chosen. When I opened my eyes I found that we were still driving, my head in Bens lap. I glanced up at him while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. He was chowing down some chocolate bars with a satisfied grin on his face. I slowly sat up and my head started to throb. I groaned in pain and both Finn and Ben looked at me both noticing I was awake.

"Well look who decided to join us. How you feeling?" Finn asked

"Like shi- I stopped myself remembering that Ben was in the car. "Terrible, I feel terrible" I said correcting myself while both Chosen and Finn snickered. "Umm how long was I out?" I asked ignoring there giggles while noticing it was dark outside.

"I don't know two hours maybe three?" Chosen answered

"Not sure considering our phones are dead and we don't have a form of a clock" Finn added.

"Great" I whispered to myself "Y/N/N, can we please go back home right now we need to go get mom so she isn't worried about us but Chosen and Finn won't let us! Tell them they NEEEEED to turn around!!!!" Ben bursted out.
"We have to turn around nooooww!" He yelled in frustration.

Both Chosen and Finn were very stressed and nervous. They were awaiting my answer. Hell! I was awaiting my answer too! I didn't know how to respond. I froze up, and my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. How the hell am I supposed to tell my seven-year-old brother that OUR mother is dead? I could feel the tears coming to my eyes at the thought. The silence becoming more and more unbearable. I took a deep breath and said:
"Ben it's too late to turn around, please just let us get to the hide out and we will talk about it there."

"But I-

"No buts we will talk about it when we get there."

The rest of the ride was silent. No one spoke just complete silence filled the van. I could feel the guilt in the atmosphere coming from not only me but Chosen and Finn. Not long after me and Bens argument he turned the opposite direction from me and towards the window pouting probably.

About ten minutes later he was asleep. Finn seemed to take notice.

"Your gonna have to tell him soon." Finn said breaking the silence. I glanced over at Ben and gently ran my fingers through his hair as a comforting mechanism. "I know." I said barely above a whisper. Feeling my eyes trickle with tears again. "How much longer until we are there?" I asked Chosen trying to distract myself. "We are actually here lucky for us" Chosen said pulling up to what looked like a very old and run down business building maybe?

"This is the hide out?" I asked (picture above of the hide out) "Yep she is a keeper and she is huge! Come on we should head inside both of you need rest." Finn said gesturing to me and sleeping Ben. Something about Finn made me uncomfortable I feel like I can't trust him. Now I know he basically saved my life today but all people that appear to be like.....well... him do that to you. Once you open up and trust them they leave you or hurt you then leave you. It's the same story every time. Both Chosen and Finn climbed out of the car.

Chosen walked over to the big buildings doors and pulled out a key. While he was getting the door open Finn walked over to my side of the car and helped me limb out of the car. My foot was in a lot of pain. He slowly wrapped his arm around my waist and as soon as I felt situated I leaned my weight against him. I groaned in pain as we started to walk. Wow was my foot sore. "Hey when we get inside I'll get you some pain relief for this foot okey?" Finn said as he stared into my eyes. I quickly looked away feeling a little uncomfortable. "Okey."
