Venus' POV

After the talk with Mr. Cole I head towards the main doors. I know that I'm not going to tell him about what's happening, but I know that he just wants to help. And to be honest, I need his help. I know I need to tell someone what's going on, but I can't.

The stom might've cooled down for now, but that doesn't mean it's over. Something's gonna happen... And I have a feeling it's not gonna be good. Not at all.

I take a seat on the stairs, waiting for John.

He doesn't talk very much. He just sits there and observes. He doesn't lay a hand on me and he doesn't yell at me. He's pretty cool. The only thing is that he's friends with my dad. He tells him everything.

That's the thing with John, David, and everyone else, they're loyal to my father. That's the main reason why I can't tell anyone.

A black Mercedes pulls up and the window rolls down. John leaned over to look out of the window at me. I get up and quickly walk to the car. I throw my bag in the back seat and get in.

John pulls away from the curve. He looks over at me and looks back at the road. I don't know a lot about John, but I do know is that my father helped him out when he had nothing left.

The drive was short, but it felt like forever. We finally pulled up in the driveway. John shut the car off and walked up to the front door, while I grabed my bag out of the back. The lights were on in the living room and also the kitchen. John knocked on the door and my dad opened it.

"There you are. Come in, come in." He opened the door wider for us to enter. I walked in after John. Dad put his hand on my shoulder, guiding me towards living room.

There was a older woman sitting on the couch. She had a suit case sitting on the floor beside her. Her blackish hair had gray strands here and there. A beautiful silver necklace laying around her neck. She looked at me with a big smile.

"It's been a long time since I've seen you." Tears threatened to fall from her hazel eyes. She stood up and walked over to me with caution. Arms opened wide she took me in a bear hug. The hug itself felt safe. Like everything around me disappeared.

This is my nana. I haven't seen her for ages. After her husband died, she closed her self in her house. Isabella Ross, the most caring person you could know wouldn't show her face anywhere. She mourned for a long time and even moved to a different state. She was heart broken. I don't blame her though, she watched her husband die right in front of her.

I don't really know what happened, I was young. But what I do know is that after that day, but my parents weren't the same.

Nana let go of me and looked me in the eyes. A tear slid down her face. She wiped it and huged me again. I look around and notice that dad and John left.
